I chat with an Asian couple new to Seattle. One is from Canada. The other is from Idaho. They're heading up to The Cuff already. I hang out with the crowds for a little while. Lots of skin was on display, largely thanks to a contingent of rollerbladers and bicyclists who wore body paint and little else. Pirates, gladiators, cowboys, drag queens, burlesque dancers and Goths mixed together in a colorful swirl of makeup, costumes and platform boots. Members from the local chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union wore T-shirts that read, "I [Heart] civil liberties." And I see signs that say I "heart" NY. Down to Sea Otters to help with early risers and diapers. Turn on my radio for The World. All of the reports and stories seem interesting to me. Rory: But I don't understand. Why am I here?
The Doctor: Because you are. The universe is big, it's vast and complicated, and ridiculous. And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles. And that's the theory. Nine hundred years, never seen one yet, but this would do me.

The aliens lock the doctor into the Pandorica. He yells to warn them "Total event collapse! Every sun will supernova, at every moment in history!
