dinsdag 29 augustus 2023 Tracking Idalia. Rough waves are crashing onto the embankment at the Southernmost Point in Key West, Florida this morning. Hurricane Idalia continues to head toward Florida, through the Gulf Coast.

This is my first visit to Lakeview Beach since Thursday Night's Storm. Strong winds and heavy rain from the storms took down trees and causing damage everywhere. The beach looks clean, but the children's playground is a total loss. The seagulls seem at peace.

Some bees are busy pollinating the golden rods on the boardwalk.
