Inside, I do lunch prep while Eileen does circle. Up to Wildflowers to be extra. They guys keep me plenty busy. I get to chat with some of the kids during lunchtime. They get rather silly during potty time. Everyone is asleep by 1:30. Down to Sea Otters again. They're sleeping well. A couple of them want to go "potty' when they wake up. Hike up Mercer after work. It's still a mess!

There's actually a way for pedestrians. Progress, I guess.

I make it to Seattle Center to rest in the shade of the trees.

Bus up to 3rd and Cedar. Visit the new Green Street on Bell Street. I'm getting tired, but I walk a mile up to my place. Watch KOMO News. We cracked 80 degrees. How rare are 80 degree days in April? Over to Infants for a couple hours. A couple babies are sent home with fevers. Another round of illness, I guess. Low numbers. Streetcar to d'town. Pick up a few things at QFC. Why do I have a thing for frozen burritos? Keeping track of the M's game on AM 710. Robinson Canó comes up to bat at the 7th inning. There's a little booing. Cano hits and gets in. Steels second.

Cano scores! M's 5 - NYY 2. It's in the rain... The Mariners win it 6 to 3. Red curry rice with pineapple for dinner. Movie - Beast With A Million Eyes. Who sees the beast? So, it's a dysfunctional family operating an isolated date farm in the California desert.

After a slight situation in the bathroom, Kate decides that it might be a good idea for the two of them to get to know each other a little bit more. Scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage for breakfast. Walk up Westlake to work. Back and forth between the Dolphins and the Sea Otters. Both groups play together on the playground. Inside. The Dolphins do play-doh. The Sea Otters have Mr. Potato Head. Nap time is fairly easy. Over to Seahorses for their nap time. Back to Sea Otters. The kids wake up. They want Mr. Potato Head again. I like the one with 5 arms.

Streetcar to Denny. #8 up to B'way. I love it when it gets sunny and warm. People in t-shirts and tank tops. I want to walk down B'way, but the bus is here. I hop on and ride to d'town. Can't seem to stream KOMO, so I turn on KING-5. Wilkens on Sterling: 'no place in our society for that kind of nonsense' The Returned is a fascinating show. I'm absolutely captivated! Next episode - Julie. Frédéric and Camille share a moment outside the Lake Pub. "Victor" helps Julie. Very scary scene!

I help the Sea Otters head into the classroom. I set up lunches for the Dolphins. Back to the Sea Otters. Leisurely lunchtime. Naps for both groups. When the Sea Otters wake up, Joyce reads books including Bears In The Night.

Streetcar to d'town. Straight up to my place. I'm really tired. Watch KOMO News. Oh... Not very yay. It's the 143rd NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits at the Indiana Convention Center in the center of downtown Indianapolis, IN.

Lots of lunches and diapers. Bottles and a couple naps later. Over to Seahorses. Only 4 kids, and they sleep soundly. I get to leave early. Streetcar to d'town. Catch a #10. It's the last bus before Peak Hour. It gets packed with riders trying to save 25 cents. Uff da! Shop at QFC. Walk back down Pike to my place. The rain is coming in. Watch KOMO News. Supporters of the $15 minimum wage are rallying at City Hall.

Watch Young Justice - Failsafe and Disordered. The Team gets all shaken up after their traumatic virtual training simulation. I like you in white, Superboy.

The rain has stopped for my walk to work. I love the timing. Just a couple short breaks. Then I'm extra for an hour. I hang out with the Dolphins and Sea Otters on the playground. The kids are in a good mood. A Seattle City Light truck gives us some entertainment. Over to Seahorses. Only 5 kids. Diapers, lunch and naps. Easy-going group. Back to Sea Otters. One early-raiser. The other kids wake up at 2:30. Streetcar to Denny. #8 bus up to B'way wander around a little. It's 53° and mostly cloudy. A shirtless man with lots of tattoos is walking next to me... talking to himself. I'm a little nervous. Back down to Pine. Lots of students getting out of SCCC. Going home. They pile on to my bus. I get home in time to watch President Obama's visit to the Oso firehouse. He says Osso.

We're going to be strong right alongside you Obama promised the people whose lives were upended when a wall of mud and water swept away the hillside on March 22. In about an hour, he's back on Air Force One and taking off. I wanted to watch the Osprey helicopters to take off, too. But no. Is it top secret? I'm more interested in Earth Day. I like the honor that do to the Apollo 8 'Earthrise'

But there is an end to the world... Doctor Who.

I can't actually watch the winner cross the finish line. I need to go to work. Walk up to Denny. Catch a #40 bus to Mercer. Give Kyle some planning time. He has only one child. Hand, foot and mouth disease has taken its toll. Strong strain of it. Wow! Poor kids. Up to Wildflowers. These guys are pretty silly. Sea creatures adorn the classroom. A shark, a seahorse and crabs.

Everyone sleeps at nap time. Down to Sea Otters. These kids are must be tired. They sleep soundly. Streetcar to d'town. Train to Uwajimaya. Grocery bill - $46.33. Whew! Coffee is expensive. So is Gekkeikan. #150 bus tunnel back to my place. Check CNN about the marathon. Report - A year later, Boston Marathon runners 'take back that finish line!' Watch Young Justice - Humanity. Red Tornado, Red Inferno, Red Torpedo defeat Red Volcano.

vrijdag 18 april 2014 Up with alarm. Turn on KOMO News. Just lay in bed for 30 minutes. Oh, my. I remember May Day. Masked marchers dressed in black, breaking windows and doors and setting fires.

Seattle police prepare for May Day marchers. SPD usually prepare by going to Starbucks for a caffeine fix. A Trader Joe's egg and bacon burrito for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Michael McDonald - the man, the myth, the legend - joins the gang in the Los Angeles Bureau.

Walk up to Denny. #62 up to Mercer. Hang out with the Sea Otters while their teachers take planning time. Yay! It's a nice day! Right away, we head out to the playground. We're all quite happy about the sunshine. We stay as long as possible. I set up lunches while Joyce does circle time. At noon, I head up to Wildflowers. I'm extra. Kenn does a dramatic reading of Too Many Frogs. The kids love Kenn.

They linger at lunchtime. I set out the nap mats. Potty time is quick. Nap time is quiet time. On the other hand, the Sea Otters wake up 5 minutes after I walk into their room. Oh, well. Streetcar to Denny. I wait for the #8. I want to shop on Capitol Hill. It's 10 minutes late, so I take another streetcar to d'town. Catch a #11 up to B'way and shop. Walk back to my place. Michael drops by. He's going to do my laundry... since our laundry rooms are closed until further notice. Thanks Michael. Watch KOMO News. I learn many amazing things... that the Rubik's Cube has become the most popular toy in history. The little cube that changed the world. And a street performer at the Pike Place Market can solve a Rubik's cube with one hand while spinning things and hula-hooping. WOW! Seattle's got talent! Watch Young Justice: Terrors. Batman assigns Superboy and Miss Martian to go undercover inside Belle Reve, a federal prison designed to house the world's worst super-villains. Just a little twist in the plot... Superboy and Miss Martin become a thing.
