It's total sunshine and 68° for my walk to work. I'm in the Infant Room all day. It goes fairly smoothly. Skye lovingly clings to me. The kids take bottles from me. They're very trustful. I try to walk home, but my back hurts. I catch the streetcar at Westlake & Thomas.
Stop by Subway at WSCC to get a foot-long Italian BMT.

Egg salad sandwich for breakfast.  Man!  I need to complane!  There's no hot water.   The coldest shower EVER! It's already 68° for my walk to work. I'm melting and sticky. Planning time for the Sea Otter teachers. We take the kids outside to the Infant Playground. A couple of them want to climb the stairs and eat the wood chips. I'll spot you! Once inside, it's a couple quick bottles and naps. They're exhausted. Naps at 11. That's early. More action with the Moons & Stars. I'm extra. Messy yogurt on the floor. Raisins on the floor, too. They're too high-energy for naps. Good luck. Down to Infants for a couple hours. I give an 2-month-old a bottle. So young! He gives me the biggest smile when he's done. Amazing experience. Streetcar to d'town. Down to Pike Place Market. Where's the elevator? (It's been a while.) Visit and tour the Pike Market Child Care and Preschool. They seem to embrace Reggio Emilia... where children are endowed with "a hundred languages" I think that I'm ready for a change... a new adventure. Whew! Nice shower. Rice and beans for dinner. Need to re-watch MST3K: Space Mutiny (again). It helps me relax. Thick McRunFast! Buff Drinklots! Dirk Hardpec! Punk Rockgroin! Big McLargeHuge!

Breakfast burrito. Cool and cloudy for my walk to work. It's 63° already. I'm extra for the Moons & Stars and the Infants. We have a fire drill. The poor napping Seahorses. It takes a while to get the Moons & Stars to settle down, but they all go to sleep. Back down to play with the babies. Streetcar to d'town. I hear Polly on the radio. I am enjoying The End more and more. Back at my place. Watch KOMO News. I'm glad that they found Nathan. Missing 10-year-old boy found alive near Lake Cushman. I like Mary Nam's interview with the guy from Frost.
Mary and Steve try the Bacon Maple Bar. The ultimate salty/smoky/sweet combo. That sounds very YUMMY!

Then I go to the Infant Room to play with the babies and eat pizza. Streetcar to Whole Foods. Get some yummy stuff. Bus #8 up to B'way. Walk around the neighborhood. My back hurts, so I walk to Olive Way and catch the #43 to d'town. Watch KOMO News. Oil tankers shouldn't be running through our city. Oil train derails under Seattle's Magnolia Bridge. Of course, there's the annual San Diego Comic-Con! Fox, Arnett Share 'TMNT' Love With Comic-Con Crowd.

Turn on Stephanie Miller. Ted Olson, attorney for the plaintiffs in the Prop. 8 case, calls in to talk about his new book Redeeming The Dream: The Case For Marriage Equality. It's a wet walk to work with my wimpy umbrella. One of my co-workers comments about it. I'm with the Dolphins most of the day. With 7 kids, it seems like 7 different schedules. A handful would be sleeping, some others are eating... juggling with diapers. We're doing alright. Over to Seahorses. They're all awake. We get out the play-doh, then we play in the rain like real Seattlites. Streetcar to d'town. Head straight home. Need to dry out. Watch KOMO News. Record rainfall! It can be frustrating for him. While waiting for the streetcar, I see Air Force One flying to Boeing Field. It seems so close. Awsome! When I get home, I instantly turn on KOMO News. President Obama arrives in Seattle for fundraising visits. Back to work for a meeting. Technical difficulties (again) with the slideshow. But we muddle through it. Another not so wonderful full-staff meeting. Walk back home feeling discouraged and lost. Spaghetti Carbonara for dinner. Watch movie - Piranha 3DD. It's a bad movie... and I own it.

Catch this just before I leave the apartment. It's 57° with scattered clouds for my walk to work. Low numbers in the Infant and Toddler Rooms. Hang out with the Sea Otters, the Dolphins and the babies. I sit with a sleeping baby for 90 minutes. My body was very stiff when I got up. Walk up Mercer. It's still a mess with many detours. Finally, I'm at The Bite Of Seattle.
Sit down to rest at the skateboarding park. Try something different... a Peking duck taco at the Chopstix truck.
A family sits next to me. That boy has amazing hair!
Bus #1 to d'town. Traffic is heavy on Denny Way, but 3rd Avenue is ok. Back to my apartment. Watch MSNBC News about the latest reports about the MH-17 disaster. I find out that Hemlock Grove has Karaoki. You need a few shots of Tequila before Karaoki.
It's still Global Warming in my apartment. Good restless night.

Streetcar to Whole Foods. Bus #8 (the late #8) up to B'way. Walk around the neighborhood. It's 75° with bright sunshine. I'm in the sweet spot weather-wise. Back to my place. Check NBC News.
