We make chalk drawings on the pavement. The sun warms things up quickly. A few of them shed their coats. I get to go home early! Yahoo! Return to Star Trek! TRIBBLES!
It's fun to watch Star Trek Animated - More Tribbles, More Troubles. Whoa! That's a very big pink tribble!

donderdag 25 februari 2016 Watch ABC News. Crazy weather out there. The National Weather Service reported that a tornado hit Pensacola at 8pm Tuesday night on Dunwoody Drive in Pensacola. WEAR report - Path of destruction from Tuesday night's tornado. My friends in Pensicola got a lot of rain. Very windy. Since I'm up early, I take a little bus ride up to Fred Meyer to pick up some vodka and OJ... And a donut. When I get to work, I see that the kids are already outside on the playground. I see my Star Wars friend. He has a Star Wars joke for me. Q: What do you call Chewbacca when he has chocolate stuck in his hair? A: Chocolate Chip Wookiee. I got one!
I get a little time with the babies. I'm so glad about that. It's a very busy day with all these kids. Time flies when you're busy. Home at last! A little news report about our Galaxy. It's amazing and beautiful. You've Never Seen The Milky Way Look Quite Like This. Watch You, Me And The Apocalypse.

Busy cleaning out the litter boxes. Taking out the trash. It's garbage day. We're short-staffed, but we manage. Morning snack: Peanut butter and jelly waffles and bananas. Love it! The kids love it when I read Down By The Barn. “Moo, moo, peep, peep, wee, wee!"
The day passes quickly. Naps, snacks, diapers, free-play. Off I go. Back at the House of Cats... Watch Lab Rats: Bionic Island - And Then There Were Four.

Thoughts on Vulcan Culture - Sexuality and Pon Farr. Tuesday morning movie - MST3K: Squirm (again). A movie about worms that bite really hard! Ew! It makes me squirm! It's chilly at the beginning of the day, but the sun warms things up quickly. After morning snack, I take the kids outside. They're really hungry. They gobble up their lunches and go down fast for naps. We're short-staffed. So, our breaks are delayed. I take a nice leisurely lunch break at the Food Co-op. I see a cutie at the next table.
Back to work for more fun and games. Now we have more people to help us. Eat dinner at Casa Que Pasa. I've never seen it so busy. Love their beef, bean and rice burrito - $8.33. Back to work for a meeting. The director drives me home. Watch Shadowhunters - Major Arcana and The Shannara Chronicles - Safehold.

Down to work. With only 6 toddlers, things seem a little hectic. We get them outside. I'm with the 3 pre-schoolers for their lunchtime. I hear chaos as the tods go down for naps. Uff da! The head teachers don't know how to do naps. Diaper and snacks. The kids go home early. The #525 is crowded. Watch MSNBC. They show The Simpsons clip of Marge's dream about 2016 politics. The two-minute clip shows the crop of Republican and Democratic hopefuls dancing and singing along to James Taylor’s “How Sweet It Is” on stage. It's been a while. Time to catch up with The Fosters... Season 3 Episode 15 in Minor Offenses.

Another rainy-play-inside day. The kids wear themselves out running circles around our indoor course - slide, steps and tumble mats. Naps are fairly easy. I like my Valentine's Day robot.

donderdag 11 februari 2016 Morning movie - SyFy's version of Children Of The Corn. We take the pre-schoolers to the library for story time. We're a little early, so we hang out in the children's area. What a treasure of books. They love it! I get to read Go Away, Big Green Monster! (An old favorite from Hutch Kids.) It could be a favorite for our kids, too.
In the auditorium, they read Yo! Yes? We walk up to the library and then back to school. Exercise and fresh air for the kids... and me. Today, it's my first experience in the Infant Room. What an amazing breakthrough. I talk with the lead teacher about Infant Curriculum. Diapers, bottles, naps... and cuddles. That's what it is. Bus ride home through the rain. Settle down with the cats to watch The Martian (again). Mars will fear my Botany Powers! That should be a t-shirt!
