Turn on KING 5 for the 11 o'clock news (2AM EDT). Alki Beach. It's usually quiet. It can even be romantic. But things got rowdy tonight. Police: Robbery, fights, and assaults led to closure of Seattle's Alki Beach. A woman did a striptease on top of a police cruiser. We experienced some crazy wind storms recently, but it's calm and beautiful today (72°). In Oberlin, Kansas - 1067 miles from my Oberlin - some amazing photos are posted of the storms that they survived. My favorite - a stormy sunset.

It's chilly 47°F and windy 20 MPH. Heading north on Prospect Street, a gust almost knocks me down. No white squirrels.

Shameless... Season 4 ended in the dead of winter. Then Season 5 starts in the warmth of summertime where everyone is wearing shorts and tanktops. Carl is in a wheelchair!?! Ethan Cutkosky actually broke his leg in the season. No sympathy from the South Side girls.

Not sure what's going on. I am stunned. Lots of beautiful, mature trees at Oberlin College have been cut down. It's sad. Five in front of Harkness. Seven cut down in this view on College Street.

Awake at 2 AM. So, I can watch the 11 o'clock news on KING 5. Seattle Public Schools host dozens of COVID-19 vaccine clinics for students. Up early this morning to go to see my doctor at Allen Hospital - Chuang Medical Center. Doctors like their blood work. So, I get a blood draw. High blood pressure is a concern.

Out for a bike ride. The horses on Butternut notice me for a brief moment. Then they go back to munching their grass.
