I’m not sure if historians in the sixties had realized that Nazi Germany was as chaotic as the literal lunatic-run asylum it basically was. Anyway... The story is a classic and the ending is a political statement! Meet my new cat, Claudius, named after one of the worst Roman emperors. He doesn't meow. He squeaks. With two AA batteries, he scurries across my kitchen floor. He's watching me read my book.
