maandag 7 september 2009 Up at 7:03. Turn on Stephanie Miller. It's a repeat. I'm not really hungry. Just sip some water. Later, I fry an egg and finish off my Chinese. Play Quantum Of Solace. It amazes me how Bond goes all over the world. And he's a sexy stud, too. Play with FM Forums. Up to M Street Grocery to get some Merlot for the party. Back at my place, I watch some clips of Justin Timberlake on SNL. Walk down to Westlake Station. Wow! It's raining cats and dogs. Train to Columbia City. The rain lets up a little. My shoes are rather damp. Dan offers me a homemade donut. Yum. Taste the wine... lots of yummy wine and pink champagne. Take some out to the front porch. I can see the trains running through Rainier Valley.

Chat with Mike Anitas. Isaac introduces me to John and Jonathan. Get a couple hot dogs and some pasta salad. Leave around 4:00. Train back to d'town. I conk out while watching Futurama.

Cloudy and cool today. Up to Trader Joe's to get more dip. They're out of Blue Cheese and Almond dip. I get Grilled Artichoke & Parmesan dip instead. Down Pike Street to Blockbuster. Get some movies. Back at my place. Listen to Rick Steves' program. Rick examines the slang that separates the Brits from their American cousins in an effort to help travelers avoid being "gob-smacked" by what the locals might say, and appearing as a "plonker". We do some diapers, slap on some sunscreen and head out to the playground. 3 - Sing out. That's a pay period... Weekend! Streetcar to d'town. Listen to The World then Ron Reagan. Check the weather. It gets cloudy fast. Oops. Here comes some weather.

Watch some MSNBC News. Find The Promised Planet... One of my favorite Lost In Space episodes. The Robinson family think they have found Alpha Centauri but... They're aliens! Oops.

Dr. Smith becomes a youth-in-training. Head honcho - Bartholomew - doesn't like his attitude. What's he going to do with that cane?

Fall back into a light sleep. Dream that Kenn and I are at a slumber party. Awake again at 4:25. Switch to Hal Sparks at 6:00. He talks about Rachel Maddow's interview with former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge. He notices how Rachel is getting impatient with Tom Ridge... she starts tapping her pencil on her desk. Thai food for breakfast. Bath. Up to Kaladi for some of Jeremiah's coffee. Sit outside and sip a little of it. Down to HomeStreet to ATM some cash. Walk up 6th to Westlake... Westlake to work. 10 to 12 - Planning time for Pam. The kids don't need anything. Let's take a walk! A caffeine-inspired idea. Gather all the stuff - the stroller, pack back and first-aid kit. We head over to South Lake Union Park.

Grey clouds hover over Seattle. The flags indicate an on-shore breeze. It rains a little, too.

I hear, "You sure have your hands full!" four times. The twins conk out. Ivy - in the back pack - is trying to give passers-by a hi-five.

It's easy to transfer Paxton to a mat. He keeps sleeping. Harrison has a 15-minute nap... That's it. 12 - Charmaine's lunch. One-by-one, her kids go to sleep. Pick up all the toys. 1 - Pam's lunch. Back to the Dolphins. Ivy gets really upset when Pam leaves. She cries so loud that it wakes up a couple Sea Otters. Feed the twins their lunch. Yum! They're hungry. Then there's a poop-a-thon. 3 poopy diapers in a row. 2 - Patty's lunch. Alex is playing with the Dolphins. Wyatt hangs out with me and the nappers. Eventually, I take Alex and Wyatt outside. All the Seahorses are playing out there, so we join them. We have a great time. 3 - Walk to 8th and Pike. #11 up to Cal Anderson Park. Get a Mondo Burrito - ground beef today - at the B'way Taco Del Mar.

woensdag 2 september 2009 Sleep through the alarm. Up at 6:15. Turn on Hal Sparks. Don't really listen today. Sorry, Hal. Rice and two fried eggs for breakfast. Chat with Lisa for a while to catch up with the family. I vent a little about things about work. Walk up Westlake to work. I see only 7 Summer Campers going to the Seattle Center. 10 - Planning time for Elaine. Hang out with 5 Starfish on the playground. 11 - Teresa's lunch. Piper and Stella are napping. Lots of attention for Nolan. He takes a whole 8 oz. bottle. 12 - Toni's lunch. I'm upstairs with the Wildflowers' lunch time. Melody wants me to tell stories of my childhood. Justin is wearing a Bulldog's t-shirt.

I ask him, "Did you go to Boston University?" "Yes." A plain and simple response. Jake talks about Mr. Nobody. I have a feeling that he's talking about a Lost In Space episode. I have a 20-minute break. I use the extra time to visit the Thai Food Truck. I get some Phad Bai Kaprao with rice... stir fried green bean, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms in a sweet basil sauce with chicken. Yummy! 1 - Charmaine goes home. Evanan is taking a huge nap. I feed Caitlin some lunch. 2 - Patty's lunch. Rohan, Alex and Wyatt go out to the playground... Patty helps with the transition. I see Mike Sheehan. We chat about HK politics. I need to admit that I am experiencing some Schadenfeude. Nancy has given me some grief during the years. Now, she seems to be getting some grief. After 40 minutes outside, I take the boys inside to do some diapers. 3 - Streetcar to d'town. A huge group of kids get on. I wonder if they're from Bright Horizons. Walk home. Change my clothes. Walk down to Pike Market to get a Mega. Back to my place. Play My Friend, Mr. Nobody. Penny befriends a lonely echo voice she calls 'Mr. Nobody.'

Poor, Penny. So misunderstood. So lonely.

Judy is getting a new hairdo. Penny is trying to explain her experience at the cave.

Doctor Smith gets very crazy with greed when he discovers 'native carbon.'

Switch to BBC News. Poland Remembers The Start Of WW II - 70 Years Ago. Also... Muhammad Ali Visits His Irish Roots. Fall back to sleep. Lots of short bizarre dreams. Up again at 4:10. Toast and 2 fried eggs for breakfast. Listen to Hal Sparks on AM 1090. Hal reminds us what a kook Glen Back is. He plays clips from Keith Olbermann's show... How America was stolen from us.

Shower. Walk up to Whole Foods get my afternoon snack - Mom's Macaroni Salad - $2.00. Streetcar the rest of the way to work. 10 to 11 - Kitchen help. Stupid dishes! But it's only one hour of slavery. Ken comes into the kitchen to chat... He's making some playdough. He heard the same news... that Muhammad Ali has some Irish blood. Thanks for the distraction, Kenn. 11 - Teresa's lunch. Piper wakes right up from her nap. Stella gets a back pack ride. Nolan is cruising around. 12 - Charmaine's lunch. Her kids are sleeping. Patty's kids wake up early, so they keep us amused. 1 - Sarah's lunch. Her group hasn't had a nap yet. Teresa helps get Ivy and Harrison to sleep. I get Paxton to sleep. 2 - Patty's lunch. It's rainy a little, but I take Alex and Wyatt out to the playground. We have the whole place to ourselves. Streetcar to d'town. #11 bus ride up to Trader Joe's. It's been a long time since I've shopped here. Cute clerks! Capitol Hill clerks. I buy some 3-buck-chuck, blue cheese - roasted pecan dip, curry chicken tenders and cilantro - jalapeno hummus. How very yummy! Walk down Capitol Hill to my place. My back aches again. Watch MSNBC News. OMG! Keith Olbermann has Dan Savage on his show... about health care.

Michele Bachmann wrestles snakes. Rice and tuna salad for dinner.
