So, President Obama and Vice President Biden surprised the White House press corps and lunchtime pedestrians by strolling from the White House to a local lunch spot - Taylor Gourmet - and ordering up some sandwiches, just like regular folks. Sushi. Train to d'town. This guy is wearing a cool newsboy cap, and I ask him about it. He's nice to show me. It's a Jaxon Hammersmith Newsboy Cap (Grey/Blue). Thanks, guy.

WHY THE REPUBLICANS LOST


It's easy to say that both sides are to blame for bickering. But if "Washington is broken," as the saying goes, it's because Boehner and the Tea Party broke it.

 
It's hard to eat Phad Thai watching The Walking Dead. To Civilization, then. Let's be full of merry talk and sallies of wit. We have victuals to delight the palate and brave company to delight the mind.

I'm listening to the show on WCPT, and I'm hearing a new commercial. At least, it's new to me. It rains on me this time on my walk to work. Then, magically, the sun pops out for the kids. They love finding puddles... Any water. The Dolphins go inside first. They're the Early Birds. It's nice to have extra help with them. Over to Sea Otters with their magnificent lunch mess. Yogurt is the biggest mess. The nap mats are out already. They conk out early, and they sleep a good two hours. When they wake up, they ALL wake up. Streetcar to Denny. Walk the rest of the way home. The clouds are moving in again. Watch KOMO News. Ah, no. Despite sweet robot moves, Bill Nye sent home on third week of 'DWTS' They talk about the local effects of The Shutdown. Shutdown could send 10,000 civilian employees at JBLM home without pay. And in D.C. - Murray, Cantwell furlough most staff; House Democrats hang on to employees. Check MSNBC. Of course, here, the real people can speak. #DontShutMeDown It's the Head Start programs... It breaks my heart. Please, Congress. Help those kids. Fried chicken and potatoes for dinner.
