Some of those kids aren't wild about Mondays. 11 - Open space to make labels for the Seahorses' nap mats. I spend the rest of the day with the 8 Seahorses. 12 - Anne's lunch. The Seahorses sit down for lunch. Toni and I manage to keep them at the table until 12:30. They're tired. Straight to their mats for nap. 1 - Toni's lunch. Alex is Mr. Insomnia. He's acting goofy from lack of sleep. 2 - Toni gets planning time. Sharon covers for Anne. We read books for the early risers. Since my right foot is bugging me, I take the streetcar to d'town. Roy Benjamin's son, Kenny, is a bright young boy who has been enrolled in the government Enrichment Program for unusually talented children. Mr. Zeno, who introduces himself as a member of the program, comes to the house to tutor Kenny in special assignments. But Zeno is from an alien planet and is training Kenny to be an agent in changing the Earth's climate prepatory to invasion by Zeno's people. Happy Days' mom - Marion Ross - plays Kenny's mom. What ever happened to Kenny - Flip Mark - boy wonder?

A little mist this morning. Walk down to 801 Caffè Ladro for a cup of coffee. The Ethiopian cab drivers are in the shop chatting and drinking coffee, too. Catch a #49 up to B'way. Zig-zag down hill back to my place. Chat with mom for about 25 minutes about dad and grads. Alex, Daniel and Katie have graduation celebrations. How they grow up so fast. Listen to Wait, Wait... and RuPaul Plays Not My Job. Fun show. Meander around d'town - Denny Triangle, streetcar, train, Uwajimaya, and the library. Home to change clothes. It's getting warm and the sun is coming out. Grab my radio for a A Prairie Home Companion. They're doing the show live this week from beautiful Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Washington. Garrison Keillor gives us the weather report as the sun breaks through the clouds. I love how he makes fun of our city. But he doesn't pronounce Puyallup right (pew-al-əp), and no one calls him on it. Walk up to Cal Anderson Park. I see progress in the Capitol Hill Station.
Over to First Hill and down to my place. Watch movie - Batman: Under The Red Hood. Very good movie. It gets rave reviews on all the sites. Exciting, dark, violent and well-told story.

Tabouli and tofu for dinner. Stargate Universe marathon - Epilogue, Blockade and Gauntlet. The ending is sad, but Eli makes a noble decision... to be alone... and a slim chance to survive.

Fried egg and hash browns for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. I love to hear her complain about her travels, but she had pretty difficult trip to New York City. Mama is all New York edgy. She does some of the show from there. Shower. Walk up Terry Ave. to work. Take a break at South Lake Union Park for a couple minutes.
10 - Extra for Elaine. I hang out with the 10 Wildflowers while Elaine puts up a few knick-knacks and Tanja changes diapers. I read about 6 books with the kids. I set up lunches, too. 12 - down to Starfish for Cristin's lunch break. The Starfish are tuckered out from a busy day of sticker art and dress up.

They quickly fall asleep. Quiet time. 1 - Olivia's lunch. 2 - The Summer Campers are resting and sleeping. I ask Nathan about the trip to the International Fountain. He was cold splashing in there.
