"I'm 684-months-old." I'm with the Sea Otters most of the day. The morning clouds cools us off today. The kids stay outside for quite a while. I set up their lunches and change their diapers. Ow! My back. Most of the kids put themselves to sleep. They're tired. Over to Starfish. Jason is a restless sleeper. Streetcar to d'town. Hang out in Westlake Park to watch the interesting people. It's a beautiful day.
Watch Revolution - The Stand. They just got Danny back, but they'll lose him. What a sad story.

Walk up Westlake to work. We're going to roast today. I'm trying to avoid the sunlight. The same for the kids on the playground. We go inside early as it feels too warm. I set up lunches while Eileen does circle time. What a lunch mess. I want a moritorium on yoghurt. They all conk out at 12:40... except one. My Chromebook arrives at work by UPS. Yay! I wonder which child is going to knock down my book tower.
Streetcar to d'town. My box under my arm. Set up for the Chromebook takes less than a minute. Watch some stuff on it. First NBC News. Important inequality update from Emmanuel Saez: Top 1% incomes grew by 31.4% while bottom 99% incomes grew only by 0.4% from 2009 to 2012. Hence, the top 1% captured 95% of the income gains in the first three years of the recovery. For me, it's on NPR first.

Charlie Pierce of Esquire’s Politics Blog calls in from Washington, DC to talk about how events in Syria are playing there. Down to the Starbucks on 4th and Union. Their coffee seems really strong to me. Short walk around d'town sipping my coffee. Walk up Westlake to work. I'm with the Dolphins. The kids wave 'hi' to me. They're all wearing sunscreen. Ready to head out to the playground. We're having lots of fun, but one is falling apart. So, we go in early and set out her nap mat. They read books with Olivia while I set up lunches. Naps are really easy. Over to Sea Otters. I'm glad that we have an extra person. I'm busy cleaning up the messy lunch mess. A teacher changes all the diapers. Another settles the kids down to their nap mats. Quiet time. I'm extra for the Dolphins for my last hour. Mellow. I want to go home, but the streetcar gets stuck.
They transfer us to another (functional) streetcar. Possible explanation. Problem with the emergency breaks? Yikes. Home. Watch KOMO News. Chaos downtown. Someone else has troubles with their breaks. Well... I plan to watch Spider-Man 3 again because of interruptions with the internet. Skip dinner as well. This scene is going to give me nightmares tonight.

President Bashar Assad warned Sunday that if President Obama decides to launch military strikes on Syria, the U.S. and its allies should “expect every action” in retaliation. The pressure is on. Walk up Westlake to work. Need to do lots of 15-minute breaks. I'm all over the place. Lunch breaks for Joyce and Eileen. So, I'm hanging out with the Sea Otters. These kids are the messiest eaters. They conk right out at nap time. These kids are not the biggest nappers, though. Joyce wants them to sleep longer, but it's futile. I'm extra for the last hour. Streetcar to d'town. Shop for stuff at City Target.
Back home. Watch KOMO News. Woo hoo! Macklemore releases his 'White Walls' video featuring many Seattle landmarks. DICK'S! Marfar chicken and chow mein noodles for dinner. Watch a little MSNBC then Elijah Wood as Ben Gunn in Treasure Island.

The anniversary party, which will shut down Broadway Street between Denny and John from noon until 10pm on Sunday, will include performances from local artists like Motopony and Don't Talk to the Cops, as well as others that have yet to be announced. Kindie-rock band Recess Monkey will also be performing at the all-ages event.

The French papers lead once again on the Syria crisis. Libération says world leaders attending the G20 in Russia want to know what would happen after any military strike aimed at 'punishing' Bashar al-Assad. Le Figaro focuses on Hollande's isolation: a mini-summit he planned with fellow European leaders ended up as a briefing on the coach taking them to the G20 dinner. Also, what gives with Paris's love padlocks? Catch the last 10 minutes of Hal Sparks. Take care, Hal.
Walk up Westlake to work. Joyce gets 3 hours of planning time. Hang out with the Sea Otters. We cancel plans to go outside. It rainy and the playground is really wet. So, the kids get lots of free play. I do the diapers while Olivia sets up lunches. Nap time is a bit of a struggle, but someone helps us out. It's quiet for a little while, but someone slams the bathroom door shut and wakes up a couple kids. Over to Starfish. I take a couple early-risers to the lobby. They pick out a book for me to read - Pete The Cat: I Love My White Shoes. No matter what happens to his shoes, Pete keeps movin' and groovin' and singing his song...because it's all good.

Pick up some stuff for my dinner at Whole Foods. Walk home. Watch The Twilight Zone - The Parallel.
