woensdag 8 november 2017

woensdag 8 november 2017 One year after his election, Trump continues to cause controversy, through his tweets, his relations with the media and, of course, his divisive policies. France 24 takes a closer look at Trump's Divided States of America. I can't help but feel things today. I hate this guy! Trump's just a bully. The whole world is shaking its head. HuffPost: It Only Took Trump One Year To Trash America’s Global Reputation.
As Aaron David Miller puts it... A Galactic Disaster! I wish that Klaatu could drop down on Washington DC and stop the world. The Day the Earth Stood Still is so smart, so good, so progressive...
Klaatu could take Trump away from us and save our planet.

dinsdag 7 november 2017 Turn on France 24. New revelations from the "Paradise Papers" shed light on how the fabulously rich avoid paying taxes. Let's watch Star Trek TNG: The Emissary. "My Klingon side can be... terrifying." K'Ehleyr - who is half-human - has a history and perhaps at one time a romance, with Lieutenant Worf.
They blocked off access to Illinois Street. Not fair!
Barkley Village is never going to fix this.

zondag 5 november 2017

zondag 5 november 2017 Midnight movie - A.I. Artificial Intelligence.
The pool scene creeps me out. Kids can be mean. At a pool party, one of Martin's friends pokes David with a knife, activating his self-protection programming - D. A. S. (Damage Avoidance System). David grabs Martin and they fall into the pool. Sending temperatures soaring! Chris Hemsworth goes shirtless in action-packed Thor: Ragnarok. Haircut by Stan Lee (Cameo!).
My friends take me to Thor: Ragnarok. What a fun movie! Fast-paced! Sorry, Seahawks. I'm not very interested in your game today. But I check in at Halftime. You're playing at CenturyLink... home turf. This should be at least 9-0 Hawks. I want to be there.
Do I have to come all the way to Seattle to help you win? I can't help you from a billion miles away. Maybe Ultraman.

vrijdag 3 november 2017

vrijdag 3 november 2017 Up in the morning to see snow on the ground. Turn on KING 5. It's slightly warmer in Seattle. While it's 38° F down in Seattle, we're experiencing a winter blast through the Fraser Valley. It's 27° F in Bellingham with flurries.
Puget Sound sees its first snowfall. This winter is supposed to be very snowy. It's a good day to practice getting around. Weather patterns are very localized and can be different from area to area. The county roads are often the worst. But the city is dealing pretty well with 4 inches of the white stuff. Isn't it pretty?
I'm in a New York State Of Mind! It's 72° and sunny in New York. I can imagine walking around Central Park enjoying the beautiful foliage.
