vrijdag 16 november 2018

vrijdag 16 november 2018 Midnight. The final episode of the original The Outer Limits television show - The Probe.
I get some sleep, although I would like more. Some people consider Jim Acosta a rude no-account son of a bi_tch. I think that he's a brave reporter, and we need more like him! On CNN - Judge orders White House to return Jim Acosta's press pass. Over to Cordata Station. Walk around WCC on this lovely Fall day.
Can't wait to watch MST3K: The Gauntlet. Turkeys!

donderdag 15 november 2018

donderdag 15 november 2018 On France 24 - California fires: Death toll rises, missing list grows. With that, heat and drought are being linked to climate change. In Washington DC, it seems that the White House is blowing up, but... Trump insists White House is running smoothly... Nothing to see here!
Teresa May - Prime Minister of the UK: I believe with every fibre of my being that the course I have set out is the right one for our country and all our people. Such a political brouhaha! Gloomy day. It's a mild 53°F. Downtown to check the Mt. Baker Apts. Nothing is available. Discouragement. I'm walking and moping back to my place to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode (season 3, episode 16) - Gamera vs Zigra.

woensdag 14 november 2018

woensdag 14 november 2018 Wild! It's a wet and windy day!
RIP Stan Lee. He pulled off the best cameos. How Should We Remember Stan Lee?
KUOW - Hate crimes up 42 percent in Washington state. Such sad news. The FBI report showed there were 7,175 bias crimes, which targeted 8,493 victims based on their race and sexual orientation. NBC News - Hate crimes in America spiked 17 percent last year.
One of the largest upticks in the history of reporting hate crimes! The universe is too big for bigotry. Prejudice right out the door! Let's watch Valerian. 1000 planets. More than 1000 races.

dinsdag 13 november 2018

dinsdag 13 november 2018 Up at 2AM for David Pakman. There's his vegan producer Patrick Ford. I like the new studio.
David talks about the conspiracy theories that Trump and Sean Hannity on Fox News are spinning about the Midterm elections. So idiotic! Trump claims counting ballots is Voter Fraud.  Back to sleep for a bit. Then up for KING 5 News. Amazon makes it official: Will split HQ2 between New York City, Northern Virginia. I swear that our Fearless Leader wants to start WWIII. Trump Mocks Macron. They were starting to learn German in Paris before the U.S. came along, Trumps tweets. And Twitter Explodes!
Un succès critique et public... Call Me by Your Name.

zondag 11 november 2018

zondag 11 november 2018 Midnight movie - one of my favorites - MST3K: San Francisco International.
Up CBS News. Trump, world leaders mark 100 years since end of World War I. French President Emmanuel Macron was quite pointed. He decries nationalism and renews his commitment to multilateralism. Trump was not amused. More Trump Drama in France as Macron Rebukes 'America First'
Breakfast at the Co-op. Whew! A stud alert! Down to the waterfront. The fog lifts at 9:30 and... Behold! Chrystal blue skies. People exploring the bottom of the Acid Ball. There were so many great ideas of how to use it. What should Bellingham do with the Acid Ball?
Meander along the waterfront. Oh, help me, Great Larry Csonka! Back home to watch MST3K: The Final Sacrifice. I ❤️ Canada! Welp! Who's up for a Moose Lip Omelet?

zaterdag 10 november 2018

zaterdag 10 november 2018 Weird dreams from Justice League. I'm in the Speed Force... looking for food. Barry Allen: [scarfing a whole pizza on the way to Bruce's car] It's like this layer of dimensional reality that seems to manipulate space-time. I call it the Speed Force. It causes me to burn a tremendous amount of calories, so I am just a black hole of snacks. I am a snack hole.
I'm not looking for somebody with some superhuman gifts. Some superhero. Some fairy tale bliss. Just something I can turn to. Somebody I can miss. I want something just like this. Catching up with Real Time. I ❤️ you, Sarah Silverman! A interesting remark here - ‘I’m Very Lucky’ in the Era of Trump That I Don’t Have to Sew a Star on My Clothes.
On France 24, George Kazolias argues against the celebration of the Armistice Centenary for the "Butcher Generals" of WWI. The 1918 Armistice: 'The end of the nightmare' for the French. Avenue de l'Opéra. American sailors and Parisians celebrate the armistice.
Thank goodness for apps! I have the TuneIn app for my iPhone, so I could keep track of the Ohio State - Michigan State game. I had access to ESPN 1460 AM Columbus, Ohio. So, I could walk outside on this gorgeous Fall day, bus to the grocery store, shop and listen to the whole game. I hear that it was snowing a little in East Lansing. It's a whole 34° and these crazy kids are shirtless, cheering on the Bucks.
