dinsdag 6 oktober 2009 Up at 3:30. Turn on BBC News. Listen to an interesting financial report - Australia Raises Interest Rates. Australia has raised its main interest rate to 3.25% from 3%, becoming the first G20 nation to do so as the global economy begins to recover. The Australian economy was the only one in the developed world to expand in the first half of 2009. They also mention that the American economy is still sick... "The prospects for growth remain fragile and labor market conditions are not yet improving." Turn on Stephanie Miller. She's finally back on Larry King!
Leftover burrito for breakfast. Bath. Walk through the convention center, up 7th, up Westlake to work. Listen to KUOW's Weekday. I enjoyed the conversation with Swedish photographer and filmmaker Mattias Klum who takes us deep into the forests of Borneo with his camera lens. Check out Mattias Klum Photography. 10 - Help Margot's group head out to the playground. Then I help the Trailblazers & Explorers with their mats. 10:45 - Leisha's break... but she doesn't need one. I just hang out with the Moons & Stars. 11 - Elaine's lunch. I do lunch prep while Anne changes some diapers. There are 6 Starfish who eat their lunch and start their naps. 12 - Anne's lunch. Elaine manages to get Ben to sleep. It's quiet early. 1 - Pam's lunch. Whoa! It's chaos! Pam's group need their lunches, but they're crying for 10 minutes and I can feed only one of them. They also need naps. No way, Mike! We muddle through somehow. 2 - Lydia's lunch. It's quiet at first with the Sea Otters... Then Alex, Wyatt, Evanan and Caitlin wake up. We play in the Bike Room. After we get back to the classroom, Evanan runs into a table and gets a bloody nose. Oy, vey! 3 - I get to go home. Walk up to Whole Foods to get some stuff. Drop off stuff at home. Take a short walk d'town. Down to University Station. Take train up to Westlake. Back home. Watch MSNBC News. Sloppy Joe for dinner.
