woensdag 4 november 2009 Up with alarm. Turn on AM 1090. Both Bill Press and Stephanie Miller have remarks about the hype and spin that CNN and MSNBC made about the so-called Republican success stories of yesterday's election. Conservatives are all eagerly lining up to spin the losses in the two governors' races as evidence that Democrats should become more cautious, go slower with change, pull back on their ambitions. That is the worst possible thing Democrats could do right now. Two fried eggs on rice for breakfast. Bath. Up to Kaladi for coffee. The shop is rather quiet. Walk around First Hill... over to the Skyline At First Hill.
Back to my place for a few minutes. Walk up Westlake to work. I bump into Alana. She moved into the Denny Triangle - 2020 Terry Ave. 10 to 11 - Open space. Make myself extra for Sea Otters. Hang out on the playground with Starfish and Seahorses. If feels warm in the sunshine. 11 - Lunch break for Kris. Olivia and I take the 8 Seahorses inside. Free play then lunch time. I get to eat my Asian noodles with the kids. 12 - Elaine's lunch. Starfish are finishing lunch. They lay on their mats for naps. I need to keep an eye on Ben. Celeste gets him to sleep. 1 - Anne's lunch. Six Starfish sleep. It's quiet time. 2 - Olivia's lunch. The Seahorses don't feel like sleeping in. Up early, I take 4 of them to the Bike Room. Oh, that rambunctious Seahorse energy! Walk up to Whole Foods for some food. Discount on salad bar and hot bar! Yay! Drop off stuff at home. #10 up to Cal Anderson Park. Walk down Pike, listening to Ron Reagan. Ron talks with filmmaker Amy Rice about her new documentary, By the People: The Election of Barack Obama
Sweet & Sour chicken with spaghetti for dinner. Watch movie - Idiocracy.
