And regarding the refrain “guns don’t kill people, people kill people,” (GAH!) Gilson says that in fact people who own a gun are more likely to kill someone with a gun than people who don’t own a gun.
It's really windy and a little rainy as I walk up to 9th. #40 bus to Mercer. Planning time for Pam as she works on her mentoring. We dare to take the 4 Starfish out into the blustery weather. We have some fun. We take shelter in the playhouse. Back inside, we do a little art project - stickers on lunchbags. Set up lunches for Starfish and Sea Otters. Patty's lunch. I put out the nap mats early while the Sea Otters eat lunch. Easy transition to nap time. The Seahorses are wound up. Two go to sleep quickly, but the others take work. Whew! (They had no outside time.) The Sea Otters wake up early. We just hang out. Streetcar to d'town. Watch KOMO News. After the rain, some blue skies appear on the KOMO cam.
