woensdag 10 april 2013
woensdag 10 april 2013 Up at 4:02. Bad weather everywhere. Hail, lightning, heavy rains and winds strike Chicago. Seattle is getting drenched with rain again. Chili lime tofu and rice for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. As I understand it, today is the day President Obama’s budget proposal for fiscal year 2014 will be released.
The show discusses Obama’s Social Security Gambit. Thank you, Steph. Food for thought. One episode of Todd And The Book Of Pure Evil before I go to work. The gang tries to rescue Jenny from the retirement home, but they're forced to fight an army of seniors hungry for human flesh. Ew! Very gross! Redierment Home.
Walk in the rain with my big umbrella to work. Leah and I deal with the 5 Sea Otters. It's a miracle, but the rain stops. We take these high-energy kids out to the Infant Playgound. They love to play on the rocking blue dogs. They are just too "doggone" fun to ride. The wind is blowing through the chimes. One of the kids says, "Too loud!" Short lunchtime again. The kids are so tired that they're acting giddy and silly. I turn off the lights early. Down they go... on their nap mats. "Night, night." As usual, the Seahorses are a challenge for naps. Over to the Infant Room. I watch the Ducklings sleep. One-by-one, they wake up. I take them to the Toddler Playground. I leave after our playground time. Walk up to the 500 Mercer QFC. This store makes the best halibut salad. #3 bus to d'town. The bus gets crowded. (And Metro plans to cut back service... again?)
Halibut salad Niçoise and ramen noodles for dinner. Watch MSNBC.
