UPDATE: According to Capitol police, more than 200 (technically, *204*) people were arrested as part of the demonstration in Washington organized by the faith-led Poor People's Campaign. Jesse Jackson among voting rights protesters arrested in D.C.

BTW: This is more single-day arrests on Capitol Hill than the biggest days of the 2017 protests to protect the Affordable Care Act, the 2020 climate change protests led by Jane Fonda, and the 2019 LGBTQ rights protests near the Supreme Court. Source: CNN.
