The sky is clear and full of stars. The Moon and Mars are close together. Is there a green force field around the Moon? Star: Torcularis Septentrionalis.

I've been watching Away on Netflix. Some day, we'll go to Mars.

Bye, bye clear sky. Clouds move into Oberlin. Slow, mellow walk down to the Conservatory's Koi pond. It's a nice space to chill and meditate on the myriad challenges of COVID-19.

woensdag 2 september 2020 Last night: American action-drama television series Cobra Kai. What a dramatic finale! A Karate War in the High School! Miguel Diaz and Robby Keene dual to the death! It seemed that Netflix nagged me into watching the series. (OK! OK! It’s #1.) I was skeptical, but I enjoyed it. The actor Xolo Maridueña is amazing with the action. I wonder what my nephew (a black belt) would say about this Karate series.

dinsdag 1 september 2020 Yearning for the stars. Out for a late night ride. The sky is fairly hazy, but I can see the Moon with a lunar halo extending from it's disc. The evening star is faint. It's almost midnight, and some students are up with their lights on in their dorms.

Just a little sleep. Enough stars are showing before the nautical twilight that I can identify some of the constellations this morning. Out for a star walk. I can see Castor and Pollux in Gemini. In the SE, Orion looks big and beautiful. I pick Thabit - Upsilon Orionis. The Moon is 99% full. As the world turns, the sky gets lighter.

NCC-75567 - the USS Cerritos - California class makes a great desktop.

Space, the final frontier. I could spend the whole day in space... But the Dark Shaddows summon me. The President claims people in the dark shadows who control the streets are really controlling Biden. Trump sez The Radical Left Mayors & Governors of Cities where this crazy violence is taking place have lost control of their “Movement”. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, but the Anarchists & Agitators got carried away and don’t listen anymore - even forced Slow Joe out of basement!
