zaterdag 11 september 2021 It's 9/11 day... the 20th anniversary.

On France 24... They interview Jules Naudet and Gédéon Naudet - brothers and filmmakers - who shot, produced and directed the iconic documentary 9/11. They are in Manhattan today to be at the same firehouse where they filmed their docu 20 years ago. François Picard is on the streets of NYC with the Naudet bros. JFC! These guys caught the 1st plane hitting the towers! #11septembre2001

Live from New York... Bruce Springsteen sings an acoustical, soulful version of I'll See You In My Dreams at Memorial Plaza. What a tender surprise to hear Bruce sing at the 9/11 memorial.

Diary 9/11/2001. Most of my diaries have been locked up in storage for a few years. Now, they all lay available to me on a little desk. Checking this day 20 years ago... I jotted down a strange dream, watching the crisis unfold on The Today Show on KING 5, debating whether to stay home or go to work. The word HORRIBLE! is scribbled in the corner.
