donderdag 23 mei 2013 A little cat spat... over me. Up with alarm. Thanks to BBC America, I wake up to Doctor Who - The Parting Of The Ways. Spaghetti carbonara for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. She interviews Lewis Black about his new comedy tour The Rant Is Due.
Water the plants. Scoop the litter. Train to d'town. Enough time to pick up a few things at City Target. Walk up to Denny. #62 bus the rest of the way to work. I'm with the Sea Otters today... to help them for their field trip. We head up to The Center For Wooden Boats for Tugboat Storytime aboard the Arthur Foss (a 124-year-old tug boat). We take the front row.
The kids seem a little tired after the march up there, but they're very attentive to the handsome storyteller. The Sunshine Kids join us.
They seem to really like Tugga-Tugga Tugboat.
Back to school. We all seem tired. We talk about the field trip at lunchtime. Naps are easy because they're so tired. A couple of them wake up before I leave. Bye, Mike. Thanks for the fun day, kids. It takes me an even 60 minutes to go from door to door - from work to Cat City. The connection from streetcar to train is magical. Hello to the cats. Watch KOMO News. Report - Boy Scouts approve plan to accept openly gay boys. That would be be something. Acceptance. What a concept. But scouts in South Seattle are rallying for it.
Mushroom and potato stew for dinner. Ah, yes. The episode we've been waiting for... Watch Revolution - The Love Boat. Oh, Miles. How many ways can you say, "There is no choice."?
