vrijdag 10 mei 2013 Up with alarm. I don't usually watch TODAY, but it's worth it on this special day. Sunny Seattle. Sunny NYC.
Cheers erupt as spire tops One World Trade Center.
Tortellini carbonara for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Matthew Breen - Editor in Chief of The Advocate - joins the gang in the Los Angeles Bureau to talk about the latest LGBT news. A Minnesota House bill legalizing same-sex marriage passed 75-59 with resounding DFL support and the votes of four Republicans. The measure now goes to the Senate on Monday, where its passage is considered likely. Gov. Mark Dayton has said he intends to sign the bill into law. Cool! Walk up to Denny. #62 bus up to Mercer. High energy level with the kids. An hour with the Starfish. Anne and I take the five boys on a walk around campus. Visit Doctor Bob and the waterfalls in the Thomas building. The Sea Otters are outside - on the deck and on the playground. They need the fresh air. Over to Dolphins for lunches, diapers and naps. It takes only 10 minutes to get them all asleep. The story with the Seahorses is different. We have a couple jokers who stay awake. I get to go home early. Catch a nice, air-conditioned #70 bus to d'town. Drop off stuff. Take a little walk to Westlake. Admire the orchids near my building.
Sit for a little while in Westlake Park. A guy is playing the blues and soul on his saxophone. The pigeons chose to occupy the tree on the right.
Back to my place. Watch KOMO News. Seattle - the home of the stupidest drivers in the world. Today, a man drives over his own sister TWICE killing her and 'The next thing I remember is waking up in the ambulance'
Switch to The Cycle. Uff da. The 38th vote to repeal Obamacare? The GOP tea baggers in Congress are out of their freaking minds. I'm frustrated like Ari.
"It's irresponsible!" says Ari Melber. I say, "You're despicable." Legislators, do your jobs!
To abate my political frustrations, I watch The Best Of Bugs Bunny on YouTube. What's up, Doc?
Fish and chips for dinner. Watch documentary - National Geographic: Evacuate Earth. If a neutron star came barrelling toward Earth – threatening the survival of man and the planet itself – what would mankind do? Eek! Here it comes!
