maandag 7 november 2022 Midnight movie - MST3K: The Sinister Urge. Written and directed by Ed Wood. Actually, I don't get past the MST3K short - Keeping Clean And Neat. I conk out. 😴

How festive! Rainbow cake for breakfast. 🌈 Why not? 😋

Buying lottery tickets for the massive Powerball drawing? Jackpot of $1.9 billion! Despite the sign, Hometown Market does not sell tickets.

Visit Lakeview Beach. Big white caps on the lake. OMG! Wave hi to a woman with a Let's Go Brandon t-shirt. Equal opportunity waving.

On the other side of the country, it's snowing a little. Some cold air came down from the Fraser Valley, and Bellingham got some snow. My friends show me. It looks tropical in their tv room.

zondag 6 november 2022 How barbaric! Midnight movie - the 2011 version of Conan The Barbarian. Leo Howard makes a fine young, exceedingly brutal Cimmerian. Starring Jason Momoa in the title role.

COVID hasn't gotten me... yet. But thanks, SNL, for Always Positive. Adjusting to the time change. Did you change your clocks to EST?

Bike up to the beautiful beach. Just one seagull? The poor loney thing is running away from me. Don't run. I'm mostly harmless.

It's ☀️ and a lovely 66°F. Down to Meijer to do a little shopping.

zaterdag 5 november 2022 Young Simon Tam played by Zac Efron in the Firefly episode Safe... doing his homework. Surprise!

Watch episodes of the Firefly TV series. Our hero - Malcolm Reynolds - the handsome captain of the Firefly-class transport ship Serenity!

It's another visit to the Firefly Universe... or The Verse. It consists of five main sequence stars, around which orbit seven protostars, seven gas giants, three separate asteroid belts, seventy-five planets and one hundred forty-nine moons.

Since Tiffany Cross is gone, I'm now watching this Joss Whedon series. I can't watch MSNBC on Saturday morning without the Cross Connection. Love how articulate and to the point she is! Much appreciation to her.

 ❤️

Winds S at 20 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph. It takes some bravado to ride a bike on this blustery day. Riding home, the leaves chase me up the street. FUN! 😊

vrijdag 4 november 2022 It's the ReidOut Road Show in Orlando. She interviews Maxwell Alejandro Frost (running for FL-10) and Brandon Wolf... a survivor of the Orlando “Pulse” shooting. They are both amazingly eloquent about gun violence and about the Anti-Queer hate spreading across the US. Maxwell: Bipartisan support shouldn't just mean what the NRA is for. It should mean what the people want. What we know is that people want to end this senseless violence.

Sipping some Gekkeikan sake... Herbaceous with hints of grapefruit and a light earthiness. Good acidity, mineral driven, well-balanced with a clean, medium finish. And reading Laboratories of Autocracy.

Nostalgic for the U2 of the 80s. Way back... in 1980, U2 released the single I Will Follow - the opening track from their debut album Boy. Stephen Colbert interviewed Bono last night about his new book Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story. He reveals how U2 got one of its first big breaks. Improvisation. 😂

donderdag 3 november 2022 Holly's IQ has been more than doubled her original 6000 score, but now she has a life expectancy of three minutes. Midnight - Red Dwarf: White Hole.

Cat: So, what is it? Kryten: I've never seen one before - no one has - but I'm guessing it's a white hole. Rimmer: A *white* hole? Stunning both visually and in the content and message. The history involved! Really amazing ad for the Democratic Party!! People are leaving their Halloween displays up. That's a good thing!

The fog burns off, and the sun shines for us. Beautiful views of the lake and the park. Some fog lingers in the distance.

Watch Young Royals if you can. It’s a Swedish teen drama romance on Netflix. Season 2 just came out. They make me cry every time with the finale! 😭 I’m in shambles!

woensdag 2 november 2022

woensdag 2 november 2022 Het verhaal speelt zich af in Zuid-Californië. Midnight movie: The War of the Worlds (1953 film). Wow! Helaas blijken zij niet bestand tegen de machines van de Martianen. What an amazing disaster movie considering it was filmed in 1953! It is one of the classics. Rioters and looters creating chaos. Humanity crumbling under existential pressures.

Jack Merridew Wants to be a Sexy Werewolf. He's so creative, funny, and sexy! Great hair too! 😉

Timothée Chalamet talks playing a cannibal in Bones & All.

St. Louis is the murder capital of the US. I have family there! Just irresponsible: Gun violence a big issue in Missouri ahead of midterms.

dinsdag 1 november 2022 Visit to Oberlin, Ohio - home to Oberlin College - rich in history, parks, recreation and cultural opportunities. Down to Oberlin Bikes to repair my bike. Hello Tappan Square.

Ratsy's windows are decorated for Halloween! Some crazy, wacky things. CLOSED?

A toy dinosaur with a doll's head!?! How odd! How... ummmm... strange!
