Hal also chats with a representative of Health Care For America Now! Thai soup and h-b egg for breakfast. Bath. Drop off rent. Walk up (with my own coffee) to Westlake & Denny. Streetcar to work. Pay for my bus pass. Feel really poor. 10 - Breaks starting with Theresa. Watch Dolphins take naps. Real quiet hour. Charmaine is getting an Alex Miller.

11 - Kris' lunch. Elise dozes off. The 3 other Seahorses eat lunch. They're not very hungry. Too many cottage cheese pancakes at morning snack. (They're yummy.) They conk out fast at 11:45. Another easy hour. 12 - Elaine's lunch. 4 Starfish go down for naps. Ben fusses a little in protest. 1 - Anne's lunch. Ani and Julien wake up early. I take them over to the empty Sea Otter room. We play with the bead track. 2 - Kathy and I cover for an observation meeting. Half of the Dolphins take naps and half play. Catch the 3:00 streetcar to d'town. #550 bus tunnel to University. Shop at 2nd Ave. WSLCB. #41 bus tunnel back to my place. Chili on toast for a quick snack. Listen to Ron Reagan. Ride bike over to work for an all-staff. Take a little time to enjoy the lake, marina and geese.



The meeting goes too much into the budget. Ugh! 8:00 - Ride back to my place. Relax by having a Futurama Marathon... starting with The Beast With A Billion Backs.

She has only Nolan and Avik. 11 - Lonnie's lunch. Moons & Stars paint. Set up lunches and mats while Jessica does circle time. I need to call Wren's dad to bring her lunch to school. He hangs out with Wren for a while. Celeste tries to console Wren when he leaves. 1 - Anne's lunch. 3 sleeping Starfish. Ben wakes up coughing and crying, but Kenn gets him back to sleep. What a miracle worker! 2 - Charity's lunch. Up to Trailblazers & Explorers for their nap time. Bela and Zachary don't sleep. Bela is very wiggly. I find a new book - I'm Dirty.

Streetcar to d'town. Walk up to M Street Grocery. Get tomato juice, salad dressing and potatoes. Oh! There are shirtless studs walking around. Drop off stuff at my place. Listen to Ron Reagan. Thai rice noodle - lemon grass and chili - with chicken for dinner. Watch Merlin - Valiant.

When Merlin learns that a knight is using a magic shield to cheat at Camelot's annual sword tournament, he must expose him before Arthur becomes the next knight to die.

Go to Uwajimaya to shop. Great view of the runners coming down from Beacon Hill. Wow! So many runners. Get some spinach, onions and Ozeki. #41 bus tunnel back to my place. Drop off stuff. I am going to be a mass transit geek today. Catch a #7 to Mt. Baker. Check out the Mount Baker Light Rail Station.

Walk down Mt. Baker Blvd. to Mt. Baker Park. How convenient! A #14 appears at that minute to take me d'town. I get off at 8th and walk down Weller St. The Int'l District is absolutely buzzing with marathon runners and natives and tourists. The runners seem to be carbo-loading at Uwajimaya's food court. #150 bus tunnel back to my place. Relax to the music of The Hawaii Radio Connection. It's so gorgeous outside. Need another walk. Up to Cal Anderson Park.

Did you know that Cupcake & Twinky = Super Breakfast? That's what it says on the t-shirt. It must be true.

I see some Yoga acrobatics, too. Interesting.

Up to Kaladi for Chamomile tea. Jeremiah sounds psyched about the RnR Marathon. "Tomorrow is the big day!" I love rock n' roll So put another dime in the jukebox, baby! Good luck, Jeremiah. Don't break a leg... or a hip.

With Kaladi's wi-fi I can watch France 24 on my Samsung. Even they are focusing on Michael Jackson. Drop off my little Samsung at home. Walk up Westlake to work. Breaks starting with Lonnie. The Moons & Stars are getting ready to go to Fairview Park. Iris gives Manav a whack on the head with a train track. Geez! 11 - Kris' lunch. Seahorses eat their lunches. They go down fairly easily for naps. 12 - Anne's lunch. Starfish cry and cry at nap time. Wow! I can't get Julien to sleep at all. 1 - Seahorses' observation meeting. I take some early risers out to the playground. It's sunny and warm. Maya's mom visits. 2 - Olivia's lunch. Theo's dad takes him own early. Walk up to Capitol Hill - listening to The World. They report on the global impact of Michael Jackson – going to China, India and London to look back at the King of Pop. Notice B'way restaurants are pretty busy with gay tourists. Rest an hour at my place - listening to Ron Reagan. He talks about Michael Jackson, too. Maybe, he's Agent M, now.

Short walk around the Pike - Pine Corridor. Curried rice and beef for dinner. Watch movie - The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

donderdag 25 juni 2009 Up at 4:48. AM 1090 goes on (maybe too much) about South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (R), just back from a secret trip to Argentina. He admitted yesterday he has carried on an extramarital affair with a woman in Buenos Aires. Panang beef with fried egg for breakfast. Play some more with internet sites in Montreal... like Auberge Maeva. Bath. Walk up Westlake to work. Empty space on my schedule. Take Patty's schedule while she does laundry. A couple of Seahorse and Starfish breaks. 11 - Kechelles's break. We take the Sunshine kids out to the playground. 11:30 - Extra help for the Seahorse lunch time. 12 - Renée's lunch. The Summer Camp kids get a little goofy while eating lunch. 1 - Renée comes back and Lydia goes to lunch. The kids don't seem very tired. Some of them nap. Most of them were very wiggly. 2 - Out to the playground to give Kenn a lunch. When Kenn comes back, he relays news that Michael Jackson might be dead. Whoa! I get to practice more of my French with Théo and Maya. Walk all the way to the M Street grocery. Get some chips and salsa. Back at my place to check the news.

Ron Reagan deals with this big news. People call in to talk about Michael. "He is a legend. Always will be." Noodles and beef for dinner. Watch Batman - Death In Slow Motion.

James Longley first went to Iran to make a documentary about school kids. Suddenly, the Seattle-area filmmaker found himself caught up in the midst of a questionable election and escalating riots. Today is La Fête nationale du Québec.

C'est pour St-Jean-Baptiste. They can really party down for this day. I would really like to be in Montreal today. Parc Maisonneuve - Une Saint-Jean réussie!
Cheese and onion omelet for breakfast. Up to Kaladi for some coffee.

Jeremiah is outside reading the paper. Walk down to the library to look for stuff about Quebec and to get a map of Montreal. Back to my place. The window washers are back. I got to ride in the elevator with one of them. Geez, they're cute! Take a walk up to Cal Anderson Park - listening to Thom Hartmann. He interviews the author - John Wasik - about his book - Cul-de-Sac Sydrome. #10 to d'town. Wait for the train testing in the Westlake Station. Down to Mae Phim to get some Panang Beef. #12 up to 8th. M Street Grocery is busy at lunch time. Back again to my place. It rains on me a little bit, but it clears up afterward. Listen to Bloodshot Bill. He's hot. Looks sexy and sweaty.

Walk up Westlake to work while listening to The Thom Hartmann Program. People call in about their experiences with single-payer health care. All the comments seem to be fairly positive. Breaks starting with Pam. 10:45 - Kechelle's break. 8 Wildflowers get really silly with me. Oy! The chaos! 11 - Kris' lunch. 7 Seahorses take early naps. 12 - Anne's lunch. 4 Starfish eat while 2 nap. 1 - Up to Rainforest Kids for Margot's lunch. Andy and Marina struggle with nap. Things are all calm by 1:30. 2 - Olivia's lunch. Just hang out with the Seahorses. Walk up Westlake to my place. The window washers have washed my window. Good job guys! Bye. Check for festivities for Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day. La Fête nationale du Québec a lieu le 24 juin. A little controversy with Anglo bands playing at the festival. CTV Montreal has news about this. Pam gets Jack to calm down. 12 - Extra for Starfish. 1 - Anne's lunch. Gabriella and Bella wake up. Patty takes them over to Sea Otters. I stay and watch the nappers. 2 - Kechelle's lunch. Watch the Wildflowers nap. Walk up Westlake to my place. Stay inside. Play with Google Earth. I land in Quartier Latin - Montreal. Turn on CISM 89,3 FM. La Brioche Lyonnaise sounds yummy. When can I go? Listen to Ron Reagan. He interviews Rick Steves about his new book - Travel As A Political Act. What a brilliant idea!Watch Star Trek - A Taste Of Armageddon Watch movie - Zoolander. Need some Mugato... Mugatu... Note - The antagonist of Zoolander, Mugatu, is named in reference to the Mugato. He, like the monster seen in this episode, has bright white hair. Ben Stiller, who stars in the movie and co-wrote it, is an admitted Star Trek fan, as he states explicitly in a commentary track recorded for the film.
