I get nervous when the neighbors get rowdy, but the Dolphins keep sleeping. Over to Starfish. The kids are sleeping, and a couple wake up. They really need diapers. Back to Dolphins. Lunchtime at 2:30. Sad to say goodbye to Ina. Cпасибо. Listen to NPR during my walk home. When I win the MegaMillions, should I move to Puerto Rico? I have a ticket. When we go inside, it's a very fast-paced 20 minutes with bottles and naps. They all sleep well. One-by-one, they wake up. Diapers and lunches. Upstairs to Moons & Stars for a magical nap time. There are 13 kids, but they put themselves to sleep. Back to Dolphins. Some of them play on the deck and I take the bigger kids to the playground. We hang out with a couple Seahorses. Fun! Walk up Mercer to Queen Anne. I feel the mugginess and warmth. It wears me out. #2 bus to Virginia. Zigzag through d'town to my place. Can I live at the One And Only Escala? I'll take a northern view. Watch KOMO News. I am pleased... relieved to hear that State lawmakers have final budget deal.

I'm all a-buzz with the news. This decision has made so many people so happy. Let's spread the goodness around. At work, I pick up an interesting book - I Will Never Not Ever Eat A Tomato - and read it with a couple kids who love the book. A fussy eater decides to sample the carrots after her brother convinces her that they are really orange twiglets from Jupiter.
Down to Dolphins. This is babyland. I set up the strollers for a walk. Then I hang out with the Starfish on the playground. These guys are all involved with this crazy Playskool Rocktivity Walk N Roll Trike. It's an electronic toy featuring musical sounds and lights. Baby, You Can Drive My Car, and Life Is A Highway makes me laugh out loud. VROOOOOOM!

Some of the kids need naps. Some need to eat. The schedule seems a little scattered. We always sort it out. The Starfish are sleeping while I give their teacher planning time. At least, I get some quiet time, and the Dolphins are finding their grove. Streetcar to d'town. Another trip to Uwajimaya... to get things that I forgot yesterday. Train back. I hear thunder. Report: Germany And The US - Still Best Of Friends. Fish and chips for breakfast. While President Barack Obama speaks, I'm all over Pariser Platz with Google Earth. I can even find the Starbucks there.
Up to 7-Eleven for some coffee. Whole Foods for a 2nd breakfast. #62 bus up to Mercer. I'm mostly with the Dolphins most of the day, but the Sea Otters need a third person outside on the playground. A couple of the babies are on the verge of crawling. Listen to KUOW News on my way home. By all reports, people seem really happy that the I-5 Skagit River Bridge Re-opens. Passing through the convention center, I notice that many interesting people are attending the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) party.
I wish that I could attend. I love the human brain. Back at my place. Watch review of Obama's speech at the Brandenburg Gate. We can keep each other safe. It's really hot, poor guy. Pulled pork sandwich for dinner. Chris Matthews adores Kennedy. I knew Hardball would focus on Ich Bin Ein Berliner. We know he really wants it and we cheer him on. We visit the fountains. The kids love the water splashing on their faces. Back to the classroom for diapers, bottles and naps. Tired. Streetcar to d'town. I'm listening to NPR on my way, and get a little sad to hear... Germany Not As Enthusiastic About Obama Five Years After Historic Speech. I remember, back in 2008, he was embraced by a crowd of 200,000 enthusiastic Germans. Let's wait for the place and time. It's one-to-one attention for the 3 Dolphins. A couple of them fell asleep in the stroller. They wake up to the noises of Hutch Kids, and they get a little cranky. Of course, the boy is fine. He takes a bottle and a nap. A teacher takes an hour to clean the wood chips off the AstroTurf. Streetcar to d'town. Train to and from Uwajimaya. I need that ginger brew. Back to my place. I hang out with the Wildflowers on the playground. The kids give me lots of hugs. They want me to watch them. "Look at me, Mike!" "Look at what I can do." Inside to meet the Dolphins. They go down fairly easily for naps. They sleep for a good 90 minutes. They even sleep through the noise next door. Over to Sea Otters. Some of them need to go outside and some need to eat lunch. I'm glad that I'm extra for them. Then we take the Dolphins outside. They're going over eating wood chips, I hope. Streetcar to d'town. Change clothes. I am not going back to work for a meeting. Actually, I try to take a short walk up Pike, but the fresh air and sunshine doesn't perk me up. My back aches and I want to go home. Watch The Cycle.
