Malignant hypertension is the diagnosis... I just went in for a few tests. The people at the Cleveland Clinic were very concerned about my blood pressure. They treated it as a medical emergency. So, I was carted off in a ambulance to the emergency room at Mercy Hospital.

What an interesting and surprising day! I responded to medicine, and I'm at home now... taking in this scariness.

Before the Time of Awakening, Vulcans believed in a number of different gods, such as the God of War, the God of Death, and the God of Peace. Picard discovers the mythical Stone of Gol. Now what?

Seafair Week Is Here... I mean THERE! I'm going to miss it. Blue Angels pilots from the Northwest are back in town to perform for Seafair. They stop by KING 5's Take 5 to share the exciting experience. Up to the Lorain County Free Clinic for a check-up. Nice place.

That's Stage 20 of TDF 2019. After all the predictions of chaos and doom, it was an entirely dry stage. I like the camaraderie. These riders have spent a lot of time together. It's stage 19 for the TDF2019. Oh my! It breaks my heart to watch Thibault Pinot. 💔 He's having problems with his left leg. After an arm round the shoulder from a teammate, he’s done. A sad, sad end.

My brain goes to Paris again. I'm finishing A Year In Paris by John Baxter. He talks about his home on the Carrefour de l'Odéon with the paulownia tree. I like the flower boxes with geraniums. Into to town on my bike. I get a swing in Tappan Square. It's a warm 83°F and partly sunny. Catrina's looks cool. Some day.

An episode which is not a blood-soaked robot rebellion - Kiksuya. Akecheta bumps into Logan, right after he was abandoned by Young William. Logan didn’t really deserve to be left out in the desert to get sunstroke. In his dehydrated ramblings, Logan reveals to Akecheta that Westworld is a false reality.

A potent scene... Nirvana’s Heart-Shaped Box without lyrics and just the melody. Akecheta gets up off of the examination table and wanders around the headquarters looking for Kohana. Days of suffering in the Tour de France. It's a Rest Day for our heroes. Thank goodness. You can see the pain in their faces.

It's not a MAGA hat! Going around Oberlin today, I got second looks. I'm just wearing my red Mariners cap.

Victory for Simon Yates. Julian Alaphilippe retains the yellow jersey. The dream goes on... and the hardest is yet to come. Yates kicked clear of Simon Geschke with 8.6km left to ride to finish triumphant.
