This is a story of a boy on Mars who wants to meet a girl on Earth. Midnight movie - the romantic science fiction film - The Space Between Us. Poor Gardner. He makes the trip from Mars, but he has trouble adapting to Earth's atmospheric pressure and gravity. Thanks to his friend Tulsa, he discovers his humanity (and the wonders of burgers and hot air balloons). Gardner is dying.

A friend reminds me of an old low-budget, horror, psychotronic, sci-fi movie - Wizard of Mars. Masked up and snowed out. Oberlinians finally had a chance to dig out and clean up a little. And I got a chance to bike around and admire the scenery. It's just cold... 26° and sunny.

donderdag 18 februari 2021 Last night, I watched Off Beat Cinema. They play Monster From A Prehistoric Planet. I like their commercials for Might Taco. Be a lunchtime hero!

Gappa angry! An expedition in the South Pacific lands on a tropical island where the natives worship the mysterious deity Gappa. An earthquake opens up an underground cavern and a baby reptile is discovered inside. The natives warn the foreigners to leave the hatching alone, but they don't listen and take it back to a zoo in Japan. Soon after, moma and papa Gappa start smashing Tokyo looking for their kidnapped child. Nothing can stop them! Sen. Ted Cruz flew to Cancun with millions of Texans without power, water. Busted! TX could use a vacation from Cruz. Today is supposed to be the last day for freezing temps in Texas. Then, things warm up. Austin will be 43°F and mostly sunny tommorow.

Thinking of Texas, I got some Texas Pete Hot Suace for my beer. Zac and I watch Star Trek: Nemesis. Shinzon is the villain. He was played by Tom Hardy. Despite being cloned from Jean-Luc Picard, he has almost nothing in common with Picard other than a vaguely similar physical appearance. He's just a generic villain who wants to use a superweapon to cause mass-murder. Watch out, Zac! He's mean!

NASA Mars Rover Perseverance Lands on Red Planet. Wishing Perseverance a safe landing! I relate a lot with this boy. A Lego simulation! He must be excited. It's a go for successful landing.
