zaterdag 31 mei 2014 Up at 4:48. The sunrise wakes me up, but I want to sleep more. It's bright outside. Coffee and chicken pot pie for breakfast. Neil Patrick Harris marathon via YouTube and Hulu. First, I will watch Will the Real Dr. Howser Please Stand Up.
And I'm hooked. He's everywhere! Harold and Kumar NPH steals their car! He's insidious! YO! Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka on The Chew. So cute! You're going to make me watch RENT (again). Sometimes, I am compelled to tell society... Take Me Or Leave Me. Take me for what I am, man! I'm experiencing lactose intolerance. It's the creeping terror... Just punch me in the stomach! Creeping Terror! I love it NOT when someone yells at a 10-story apartment building for PETER! PETER! C'mom. PETER! It must be love, but it's not for me. Alack and alas... Dis not for me.

Fried egg sandwich for breakfast. With crystal blue skies and sunshine, I walk up Westlake to work. I'm with the Dolphins. I pick out a book to read to them - Pete The Cat I Love My White Shoes. I wish that I could play guitar and sing the song like that. The Dolphins take a walk to the park. Over to Sea Otters. They're checking out the tadpole exhibit.
Lunchtime is busy. Diapers seem to take forever. I'm glad that some of them can put themselves to sleep, and they sleep well. Streetcar to d'town. Drop off stuff at my place. Walk up to Harvard Market QFC to get stuff. Home again. Watch MST3K: Gamera (in glorious B&W). 1:30:30... "Hey, Joel! Remind you of anything?" In the not to distant future... I AM STILL LAUGHING. Loved it! Bagel and lox with cream cheese for dinner. I love the capers on top. It's my favorite episode of Cosmos - A Spacetime Odyssey: The Immortals. I like the story of Gilgamesh... a famous ancient Akkadian epic. Gilgamesh and Enkidu at Uruk, how two enemies became friends through hardship...
That's the reason to watch Star Trek TNG - Darmok.

Last stop. The Sea Otters. They sleep well. They pop up from naps at 2:45. I head home. I see dark clouds, and I ask myself "Will it rain on me?" Nothing. Just some birds singing. But I'm home.  Safe and sound.  Speaking of that... Maya Angelou, one of the most powerful voices in American culture- author of I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.

I haven't turn on the old TV in a long time. Will it blow up on me? It's connected to the Yamaha speakers. I pop in an old VHS - Star Wars.

There was a march on Washington to overthrow the government - Operation American Spring or Morons March On Mall. The Revolution never happened. Rained out. Bologna and sauerkraut sandwich for breakfast. Walk up to Denny in a light rain. Catch a #40 bus to Mercer. It's art! The Sea Otters have white, pink and green paint on black paper. Here is a prolific artist.
Over to the Seahorses for a few minutes. The rain lets up, but I can't persuade a couple kids to join me on the playground. So, we read The Grouchy Ladybug. I love it when the ladybug confronts the whale. Watch out, lasybug. "She got such a slap!"
Back to Sea Otters for lunches and naps. I takes a while to get them all to sleep. Streetcar to d'town. Back at my place. Watch Max Steel - Scrambled. Extroyer wants to defeat Max Steel once and for all.
Catching up with Cosmos - A Spacetime Odyssey: The Immortals.We made ourselves immortal by writing.
Carl Sagan states in the original ‘Cosmos’: If we do not destroy ourselves, we will one day venture to the stars. At least to Mars.

Stir fried beef and broccoli for breakfast. Watch movie - Starcrash. With that, I walk up to work. They ask me to write a bio. Okay. After that I do a couple breaks, and then I'm Sea Otter extra. The kids take a walk to the park while I set up lunches and mats. They have circle time with Joyce. They read Kiss Kiss.
Over to Seahorses. One happy early-riser. We go to the Bike Room. He knocks down my block towers. Streetcar to Denny. Grocery shop at Whole Foods. Guac-Kale-Mole? I got to try it! Drop off stuff at home. Watch KOMO News. Mary Nam chats with the school-kid cast of Grease. I'm amazed of the talent of these kids. The duck-tailed, hot-rodding boys and the gum-snapping, hip-shaking girls.

Lunches, diapers, naps. I can't believe how tired they are. In ten minutes, they're all asleep... and sleep past 3 o'clock. Streetcar to d'town. Change my clothes. Take a walk down to Pike Place. There's the Economy Market Entrance, but I do not enter. Head down First Avenue, past the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to First & Union. I settle down across the street from the Seattle Art Museum: SAM... which looks especially sparkly today.
Sit down at a bench. I don't know if I'm rubbing elbows with tourists, but we admire the view of the Seattle Wheel and Puget Sound. A few clouds floating above.
Walk back up Union to my place. A random sign says: All Things Seem Possible in May - Edwin Way Teale. Turn on KOMO News. It's the last day for Dan Lewis as an anchor. The Sea Turtles cry when their teacher leaves, but we settle down and play. The Ducklings play with ribbons and chase bubbles. Streetcar to d'town. #150 bus to Uwajimaya. Get some sake and Vifon Cháo Cá.
What? Guys kissing themselves again? It's between Ivan Rakitic and Daniel Carrico. Male Soccer Players Share Kiss After Win -- And Apparently People Need Answers About It. No, Anakin! NO! He had the potential to be the most powerful Force-user ever. It's on this day back in 2005 - Thursday, May 19th - that I watched Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith.
