Next - Star Trek TNG: Q Who. Q makes the Borg threat perfectly clear to Picard: "You can't outrun them, you can't destroy them. If you damage them the essence of what they are remains; they regenerate and keep coming. Eventually you will weaken, your reserves will be gone... They are relentless."

Bike ride into town to get some things. I'm amazed that Trader Joe's is rather quiet. Ah! I discover that it's the SEA - NO game. I manage to catch the last, dramatic 2:49 minutes. Penalties hurt Seahawks in 25-20 loss to Saints. Uff da! The Hawks really tried to pull it off in the last few seconds. Switch gears and watch Lost In Space - Invaders From The Fifth Dimension. Ew! The aliens use brains for computers.

Steph and Vanessa riff on Melania. Bus #540 into town. Shop at Fred Meyer and the Co-op (where I have a second breakfast). It seems so easy... Back to my place. Lunchtime movie - Mel Brook's Blazing Saddles. Catch up on some sleep.

zondag 16 oktober 2016 I'm watching DC's Legends of Tomorrow past midnight. The battle with the Leviathan robot is amazing. Then it's time for a raunchy film - Bachelor Party 2: The Last Temptation. One of the funniest segments is the "Dance-off" on the beach. Everyone is chanting, "Jason! Jason! Jason!"

It's 5 AM and I'm ready for more. Donald Trump (Alec Baldwin) and Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) take questions from undecided voters. Thanks, SNL. "Hold on to your nips and nuts." A couple bike trips for me. One to downtown to shop at Community Food Co-op. I hang out in the cafe for a little while and chat with mom. Back to the apartment to drop off my stuff. Next ride is up to Cornwall Park to enjoy the little waterfall. I love the Fall. The crisp, cool air. The leaves. The mist... And, yes, the rain. I heard Chris Thile say Why is Fall hijacked every 4 years by the Presidential Election? Exploring the neighborhood, I ride down Peabody Street and see Little Darling School. I admire their playground.

While it rains and it doesn't matter. By bus and later by bike. I feel great riding into town. I visit the falls at Whatcom Creek. The water is powerfully rushing.
