Busy morning. Upstairs, downstairs, inside and outside. Things might settle down when I go to the Infant Room. The babies are busy, too. I takes a little guess work to find out what they need. Tired? It's 57° and drizzly for my walk. It was pouring cats and dogs earlier this morning. Into Whole Foods to dry off and eat some scrambled eggs and bacon. Nice crispy bacon. Bump into some old friends. Chat and catch up. I'm in 4 different rooms. Moons & Stars extra. It's nice to give some of them a little one-on-one. Over to Seahorses. Wow! They are rowdy! They wear me out in the Bike Room. Naps are fairly easy. Over to Sea Otters. They're waking up from naps. They want me to read books. We flip through them rather quickly. I get to leave a little early. Streetcar to d'town. Bus #49 up to Boren. I pick up my glasses today. I love them!
Back to my place. Internet is nonfunctional. Head over to the library to use their Wi-Fi. Watch France 24. This is sad. C'est triste. Hommage à Hervé Gourdel.
After dinner, I plan to watch Star Wars III: Revenge Of The Sith.

U.S. warplanes have again bombed Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) positions in Syria, the Pentagon confirmed late Wednesday afternoon. The strikes were against a dozen ISIS targets with five of the strikes being carried out by the U.S. and seven by Arab allies. Here's a map.
Up to the bus stop on 9th Ave. It's my last ride on the #62 because Metro is cutting 28 routes. The bus driver makes an announcement: "I'm sad to say..." I get some drizzle on me. When I get inside for work, the rain starts to pour down. I'm in the Infant Room until 1 o'clock. Five Ducklings keep me busy with diapers and feedings. Over to Dolphins. They keep me busy with lunchtime. It's a relief to go up to the Trailblazers. They're going down for naps. Only 2 of them don't sleep. Streetcar to Denny. #8 up to B'way. Nice day for a walk in the neighborhood and Cal Anderson Park. A bird's eye view.
Back to my place. Watch KOMO News. Things to do this weekend. I might visit the Festa Italiana. Back to Wizards Of Waverly Place. Gnip gnop, hippity hop, run 26.2 miles, then stop-Increases speed 2X for 26.2 miles. It's Marathon Helper. Justin decides to enter the marathon so he can be the first Russo to win an athletic trophy. Poor #32.

Thinking a lot about dad, work and money. Les moules méditerranéennes avec du riz jasmin. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Talk about Syria and the Khorasan Group. President Obama speaks today at the U.N. General Assembly to defend his decision to bomb terror groups inside Syria. I think - like Bob Cesca - this is a big Kobayashi Maru. It's 61° and raining for my walk to work. I'm with the infants and the Sea Otters the whole day. Easy work. I'm extra, bonus. I take a baby upstairs to visit "the big kids" and his brother. A couple groups have low numbers as well. When I go over to the Sea Otters, they conk out for nap time. Blissful rest and quiet for two hours. The Sea Turtles keep me busy, though. I'm glad that they're getting used to me. Streetcar to d'town. Since it's dry, I take a walk around. Back home. Check CNN. I'm happily surprised by this - U.N. Security Council unanimously passes anti-terror resolution.
Switch to KOMO News. Why is Seattle so sssslllloooowwww? Disappointment! Transit report - First Hill Streetcar delayed: Line is ready, streetcars are not. Portland has always been ahead of the curve.  Portland is progressing and advancing with mass transit - TILIKUM CROSSING, BRIDGE OF THE PEOPLE! Who makes something for the people anymore? It's not Capitalism - A Love Story. Wow! nasty comments already. Pasta salad for dinner... and pour souls in the house. Capitalism... Some people have nothing even if you're working. Nothing. It's 61° and just a few sprinkles on me for my walk to work. Uff da. I'm nervous to see my schedule. I'm with the Trailblazers for most of the day. Someone develops a plan to split the group 3 ways. Now I'm nervous about lsoing a kid in the shuffle. Six of them - Mike's group - just want to stay with me and read books. We go outside and run on the deck. I admire their energy and imagination. Yippee. They gallop and say, I'm riding on a dinosaur. Inside before the rain comes. Lunchtime is fairly calm. Nap time is wacky. I'm with the babies for the last hour. At last... my comfort zone... and they seem happy to see me. I'm exhausted. Streetcar to d'town. E-mail from mom and a chat with my sister. Dad is going to the Keystone Pointe Nursing Home. I'm not sure how dad will feel about this. I don't know where my dad's mind is. I think that Keystone will try to keep good care of him.

We need to put shoes, shirts and coats on to go outside. I'm tired and worn out. Up to Trailblazers for lunchtime. The teachers want to play a tape story for the kids - Big Scary Monster.
The kids are not listening. Cranky teachers. The kids won't settle down at nap time. Back down to Starfish. One wakes up early. We head out to the lobby to play with Legos. Streetcar to d'town. Watch Wizards Of Waverly Place - Monster Hunter.

I hang out with the Dolphins while Joyce takes planning time. We have an extra person with us. Nice. We head out to the playground. No bubbles. (?) Back inside. They're getting fussy and tired, but we do lunch first before naps. Up to Trailblazers for a couple hours. They're ornery today. Running amuck sometimes. It takes a while, but they all settle down for naps. Back down to the Dolphins. Free play and snacks. Streetcar to d'town. Bus #10 up to QFC. Mmmm! It's overcast and 61° for my walk to work. My first hour is with the Trailblazers. We take them out to the deck to run off some wacky energy. They have Spanish with Paola. Down to Dolphins for an hour while Joyce goes to a meeting. They have lunch. Another lunchtime with the Trailblazers. "Hi, Mike!" It's fun to chat with my old babies. Nap time with the Starfish. A few of them wake up at 2:30. Streetcar to d'town. Watch KOMO News. The President speaks. Obama: Vote shows US united against Islamic State.
Back to work for an All-Staff Training - food handling, medication management and pesticide policy. We whip through it in a hurry... 45 minutes. It's busy for my walk back through d'town. Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me is at the Paramount. Home again. Watch Ronan Farrow Daily. Putin’s so-called ‘gay propaganda’ law. Vocativ takes us to Kyrgyzstan, once a safe haven of tolerance that now seems to be following in Russia’s footsteps when it comes to cracking down on what President Vladimir Putin calls, “gay propaganda”.

It's a thick marine layer and 61° for my walk to work. I don't really need my umbrella today. I'm with the Sea Otters and Seahorses. Help set up lunches. The Sea Otters are much more self-sufficient. Over to Seahorses for lunchtime and naps. It takes a while for some of them to go to sleep. Quiet time. Streetcar to d'town. Watch Wizards Of Waverly Place - My Tudor, Tudor. Justin takes a liking to Max's tudor. He takes Tudor to the Leprechaun Grill on a date. Nice suit.
Yakisoba noodles with egg for dinner. I wonder if the Scots can vote by mail. Yes, they can! Residents in Scotland aged 16 - 16! - or over can vote, a total of about 4.3 million people.

Busy day upstairs. Moons & Stars. I get sad when one of the kids picks up a toy car... Bang, bang, bang on another boy's head. That really hurts! These meetings with the director take too long. Down to the playground to hang out with the Trailblazer. Wow! 18 of them. At least we're outside. I take 9 of them upstairs. They love it when I count them in French... Un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf! Over to Wildflowers to help. I hear one of them singing Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da to himself. Cute. All is quiet upstairs, so I head down to the Infant Room to help. Streetcar to d'town. Watch Wizards Of Waverly Place. Waverly Place... What a place to live! Greenwich Village. Christopher Street.  Stonewall...  All very close. I like Justin's Charlie Chaplin t-shirt for episode #2-21 Justin's New Girlfriend.
Justin's Silent Movie Spell is great! Take away color and sound, this is where revenge is found. I have to applaud for that one! Scotland and independence. I have some Scottish blood in me. It could be Lies That My Grandparents Told Me. Nevertheless, it's there. 'The Simpsons' Groundskeeper Willie talks Scottish Independence.

Up at 2:36. Turn on BBC News. Oscar Pistorius is found guilty of culpable homicide. Salmon and avocado omelet with toast for breakfast. This makes my day! Have you heard about this? Sarah Palin and Family Allegedly Involved in Giant Drunken Brawl at Snowmobile Party. Stephanie Miller is making laugh VERY out loud. Kenny Pick in Cleveland has a montage for the Sarah Palin fight. Beware of the goat screams. Crystal blue skies and 61° for my walk to work. The Dolphin teachers get 2 hours of planning time. We take the 6 Dolphins out to the playground. I don't know if it's because it's a Friday, but the kids start to fall apart in a few minutes. Lunchtime for these guys is at 11:00. What a lunch mess! They seem tired. Most of them are asleep by Noon. Up to Trailblazers. They're in the middle of lunch. The teachers are loud and silly (punchy?), so the kids get that way, too. The noise is oppressive. I can't wait for quiet time. Down to infants where Anna gets a lunch break. She has only two kids who seem to need nothing. We play over in the Sea Turtle classroom. Nice mellow end of the day. It's 76° and sunny for my walk home. Watch KOMO News. This is sad to hear - Student Who Changed Schools To Avoid Bullying Beaten By Three Teens. Stay out of Green Lake! Algae!
Brent picks me up and we go to Kaladi for some of Jeremiah's draught beer. Thanks, Jeremiah. The beer is pretty strong. Brent and I chat and catch up. We walk up Pike to observe the changes to the neighborhood. Visit the new Elliott Bay Books. Brent drops me off. Bye to Brent. Big hugs. Watch some Clone Wars. "A wise leader knows when to follow."
