Caitlin and Tilia put themselves to sleep. Evanan takes a bit of work. He's not fighting his nap. He just feels a little playful. 1 - Pam's lunch. This is frustrating me. Ivy is always in Pam's arms... sitting, rocking. Ivy cries quite loud when she is transferred to me. Of course, that wakes up the other nappers. I really give up with this situation. I just let Ivy cry and wake up everyone. How would you like your sleep disturbed by noisy neighbors? But eventually, the kids cheer up. I read books to the kids. Harrison seems to like Silly Sally.

2 - Patty's lunch. I want to go to The Dark Side. It's just an expression of going from a well-lit classroom to a dark naptime room with all the lights shut off. It's not this kind of Darkside.

Evanan sleeps a long time. The others are ready for snack, and he's still sleeping. 3 - Walk down to Whole Foods. Get some rice noodles and teriyaki chicken and Pas de Bleu cheese. Home. Turn on Ron Reagan. He interviews author T. R. Reid about his book The Healing of America: A Global Quest for Better, Cheaper, and Fairer Health Care. With things the way they are in the USA, 22,000 to die from easily treatable diseases. A caller responds with a concern... US citizens are treated as commodities... things to make a profit from. Too tired to take a walk. Play movie - Firefly - Serenity.

dinsdag 29 september 2009 Restless night. Up at 1:00. I can't manage to go back to sleep. Turn on BBC News. There's a lot going on in the world... as usual. Protests in Guinea. A typhoon threatens Vietnam. Saudi youths lashed after clash. I don't get why they had to do that. That report revved up my brain. It's no use to go back to sleep. Check e-mail. Mom sent me a photo of my pregnant neice. 22 WEEKS! Another family moment... I chat with Nana about 8 minutes. Stores are closed, there’s no school, no newspapers and no Israeli television. And much less traffic. In and around Tel Aviv, the holiday has turned into a festival of bicycles for children. Report - Yom Kippur: Kids And Bikes In Tel Aviv. Ron Reagan talks about the Roman Polanski hullabaloo. Lots of people call in the show.

Then he meets Cedric at the beach (Stéphane Rideau, the object of gay desires in several films, including Les roseaux sauvages), who is attractive and obviously looking for a boyfriend.
