dinsdag 5 mei 2009

dinsdag 5 mei 2009 Up at 1:58. Rain is hitting my window. Turn on BBC News. Confusing reports about Taleban invasions into Pakistan. Swat Residents 'Flee Their Homes' Toast and 2 fried eggs for breakfast. Wow. It's raining hard. Bath. Turn on Stephanie Miller. She talks about the interview that Joe The Plumber had with Christianity Today. My tummy is a little upset with that Mondo Burrito. I can't believe I ate it all last night. Up to Kaladi for some coffee. Animal-Rights-Guy turns off David Gray and witches to another station. (I like David Gray.) Oh, well. Walk back. Oh! There's The Boy In The Window!

Drop off my diary at home. Walk up to Whole Foods to buy some mineral water. Still raining off and on. Breaks starting with Tanya. Pancakes for snack. Yummy. Rory - a 3-year-old - talks about the numbers of people who have died from swine flu at the snack table. He tells me, "150 in Mexico." Downstairs for Leisha's and Lonnie's breaks. Only 5 Starfish. I take 4 of them to the Bike Room. They need to blow off some steam. Over to Sea Otters for those breaks. 11 - Elaine's lunch. They're staying indoors today. Gloria visits to take pictures. Some of the Dolphins mingle with the Sea Otters - the new Rainforest group. Kenn has only 30 minutes to set up lunches. So, Andy does circle time while the other lunches are set up. Up to Rainforest Kids for Remi's lunch. I have fun chatting with the kids while they eat. They are fascinated with my "bubble water" - my mineral water. Nap time is easy. They play Nick Drake.

Walk back to my place. Drop off my water. Walk down to Benaroya Hall and bus tunnel back. The weather is still wild. The wind blows spray off Elliott Bay.

It's a Rainy Cinco De Mayo by Seattle Sketcher. Listen to Ron Reagan. Wow! He talks about Socialism. That's gutsy of him. Corned beef and spaghetti (left-overs) for dinner. Watch Legend Of The Seeker - Cursed.

Then watch movie - Starship Troopers. I forget how brutal and violent this movie is.
