donderdag 20 oktober 2011

donderdag 20 oktober 2011 Up at 6:05. Nice to sleep in. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Steph is an animal person. She's upset about the case of an Ohio man who set loose his collection of wild bears, lions, tigers and other beasts before apparently killing himself has animal-welfare organizations renewing their call for a clampdown on ownership of exotic animals. Oyster omelet for breakfast. Shower. Watch Stargate SG-1: Collateral Damage. Colonel Mitchell stands falsely accused of murder -- but he remembers committing it, thanks to technology that grafts memories into someone else's mind.
Streetcar to work. 10 - Break for Charmaine. Set up lunches for Sea Otters and Dolphins. 11 - Play outside in the drizzle with the 5 Starfish. It's Olivia's lunch. Low numbers. I like it. 12 - Anne's lunch. I eat my hummus sandwich with the 7 Seahorses. Toni does potty time. Down for naps. They all sleep. 1 - Both Toni and Sharon take their lunches. I get to go home early. Walk through Denny Triangle and meander through Occupy Seattle. Just a handful of people and some signs.
The West Seattle Blog posts cool Photos Of Occupy Seattle. Turn on The World at my place. I guess the rumors are true... Muammar Gaddafi is dead. Report - Libyans Celebrate Death of Gaddafi.

Watch KOMO News for a little while. They talk about Viadoom. Warning! There is going to be congestion.
The Alaskan Way Viaduct closes at 7:30 p.m. Friday night for nine straight days. Ha! Take a walk down to city hall. Not much going on there. Up to Westlake on the train from James Street. Crossing 4th Avenue... Whoa! Why so many cop cars? There's a guy who notices my camera. His sign says Your Tax Dollars At Work.
I understand you, dude. It's hard to make clear cost/benefit analysis of a huge police presence for a peaceful demonstration. Or maybe the police are buying underwear at Macy's.
Back at my place. Watch Stargate SG-1: Ripple Effect. It trips me out, man! Multiple SG-1s show up at Stargate Command, leading the "real" team to conclude that they have each been inadvertantly displaced from different parallel realities. Rice and tofu for dinner. Watch movie - Surf School. It's a goofy movie. But I like listening to Everybody by the Youngbloods.

If you hear the song I sing
you will understand...listen
You hold the key to love and fear
all in your trembling hand
Just one key unlocks them both
Its there at your command

Come on people now
smile on your brother
Everybody get together
try to love one another right now

Very cool.
