First, Thanos acquires the Power Stone from the planet Xandar then extracts the Space Stone from the Tesseract. The Reality Stone is in the possession of the Collector on Knowhere. Thanos kidnaps Gamora, his adoptive daughter, who reveals the location of the Soul Stone. Doctor Strange surrenders the Time Stone. Maximoff tries to destroy the Mind Stone, but Thanos removes it from Vision's head, killing him. Ah, SNAP! The Gauntlet!
