vrijdag 18 oktober 2019 Midnight movie - Disturbing Behavior - a 1998 American teen science fiction psychological horror film. France 24 - The Green New Deal: Putting the climate at the heart of global policy. I haven't heard from Jeremy Rifkin in a while. He talks about the Carbon Bubble. I found a nice quotation today by Oscar Wilde. A map of the world that does not include Utopia is not worth even glancing at, for it leaves out the one country at which Humanity is always landing. And when Humanity lands there, it looks out, and, seeing a better country, sets sail. Progress is the realisation of Utopias. (1891)
I finish No Is Not Enough at The Local. It's busy and noisy in the cafe. Over to the Oberlin Bookstore to buy On Fire: The (Burning) Case for a Green New Deal (also written by Naomi Klein). Oberlin's trees!
Up to 56°F. It feels warm in the sun. Beautiful skies and trees!
Dinner and a movie - Baked beans and potato salad and The Legend of Hercules with the lovely and talented Kellan Lutz.
