Tyre Nichols was a 29-year-old Black man who passed away due to police brutality during a traffic stop in Memphis last month. As his grieving brother, Jamal Dupree, tells us Tyre was the most peaceful person I’ve ever met. May we tread a path toward peace and justice. The rest of the day is rather solemn.
