maandag 5 november 2012

maandag 5 november 2012 Up with alarm. Rice and fried egg for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Sexy Liberal Hal Sparks joins the show in the Los Angeles Bureau for the last hour. Yay! ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Jesse Williams on the feel in Ohio and the youth vote. He is surprised by the amount of apathy he is seeing from the younger generation. We need to get the vote out! Up to Kaladi for some coffee. Walk to work. Give Olivia a couple hours of planning time. Hang out with the Dolphins on the playground. Nice mild day... 55° and partly cloudy. The kids have fun playing in the leaves. Inside, we get their lunches set up. After lunch, we settle down with Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Nice and cozy. Thank you, Bill Martin. Cool. I'll try it your way. Over to Sea Otters. I eat my lunch with them. Easy-going hour. Down for naps. No arguments. The time change zapped them. They're really sleeping. Streetcar to Denny. #8 bus up to B'way. On my walk home, I see an ominous headline in the Seattle Times - Election Results? Get Ready To Wait. More than 1.5 million ballots have been returned in Washington state (including mine), but with another 1.5 million or more expected in the run-up to Tuesday's deadline, officials say they'll only be able to report about 60 percent of the total vote on Election Day. It's looks like a big job.
Turn on the news. Whew. NBC has spiffied up Rockefeller Center for Election Day. Behold - Democracy Plaza. Glorious!
Watch PoliticsNation. Al Sharpen sounds pretty confident about Barack Obama with today's poll numbers. It happens tomorrow!
Watch Hardball and Rachel Maddow, too. Finally, Haven - The Trial Of Audrey Parker. Yes, Duke, yes! Strip as if your life depended on it!
