woensdag 7 november 2012

woensdag 7 november 2012 Up with alarm. Watch KOMO News. It was another wild party up at Pike and Broadway last night. From Seoul to Kogelo, Kenya, Obama supporters around the globe watched and reveled in the Obama's election. Yay Obama, Japan! "We have fought our way back," President Barack Obama declared, urging the night's political winners to put partisan bickering aside and "reach across the aisle" to tackle the nation's problems.

Lentil soup and fried egg for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Steph and the gang are quite giddy... and deservedly so. Go for it! 100% giddy! Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) talks about last night’s big victory for President Obama. Obviously, Money Is Not Free Speech. Go away Koch brothers and Sheldon Adelson! Congratulations to congressman-elect Alan Grayson. He is going back to Congress. Oy! Seriously... I got to get ready for work! Walk up Westlake to work. Planning time for Patty. Kathy covers for Charmaine. Free play for a while. Then we head out to the playground. The kids want me to throw the ball "up into the sky!" Fun chasing bubbles, too. Lunch is interesting for 10 minutes, but the kids want to play with the new Lego set. A couple kids struggle against nap. Mercury is in retrograde in the Seahorse classroom, too. Weird nap times. Streetcar to d'town. Take a walk around. I love the effect of the brilliant sunset down the Pike Street corridor. 4:42pm Wednesday (PST) - Sunset in Seattle, WA. Shop for books at Barnes & Noble. EASY RUSSIAN PHRASEBOOK & DICTIONARY and Larousse French Pocket Student Dictionary. I love languages. Back to my place. Watch PoliticsNation. Yes, the Republicans seem grouchy today.

Like I heard somewhere... It's The Demographics, Stupid! Just one more screen cap about the antics on B'way last night. They're on fire! All Fired Up! Not as many smart phones in 2008. Hmmm.
Naturally, the peaceful revelers are surrounded by police. THANKS, SPD! Just expressing delight here!
