dinsdag 1 september 2020 Yearning for the stars. Out for a late night ride. The sky is fairly hazy, but I can see the Moon with a lunar halo extending from it's disc. The evening star is faint. It's almost midnight, and some students are up with their lights on in their dorms.

Just a little sleep. Enough stars are showing before the nautical twilight that I can identify some of the constellations this morning. Out for a star walk. I can see Castor and Pollux in Gemini. In the SE, Orion looks big and beautiful. I pick Thabit - Upsilon Orionis. The Moon is 99% full. As the world turns, the sky gets lighter.

Space, the final frontier. I could spend the whole day in space... But the Dark Shaddows summon me. The President claims people in the dark shadows who control the streets are really controlling Biden.
