vrijdag 6 april 2012 Up at 2:55. Turn on France 24. The Malian Tuareg rebel group, MNLA, says that it had declared its independence for the northern region of Azawad. Who are the Tuareg rebels conquering northern Mali?
I manage to doze back to sleep for a little while. Wake up again. Watch Power Rangers SPD - Zapped. Nile Spice black bean soup for breakfast. Walk up to work. Do a few short breaks. Of course, the Starfish are busy with an art project... making a "thank you" for Elena.
The kids are really serious about this project. Some are done, so I take them outside. Not for very long. Soon, we're inside for lunchtime. Over to the Seahorses for their lunchtime. Naps are easy, but Anne deals with one non-napper. Olivia's lunch. Two wake up as soon as I set in the classroom. It's beautiful outside, so I take them to the baby playground... where some babies are playing. Fascinating stuff for toddlers. The two seem to need a change of scenery, so we head inside for some time in the Bike Room. Then I go home. Streetcar to my place. Change clothes - shorts and a t-shirt. Ah, hah! Sakura-Con is here!
Hang out with the Sakura-Conites for a little while. Walk in the sunshine up to First Hill Park. Notice lots of baby daffodils in the park.
I make it up to B'way and turn down Pike Street to my place. Turn on KIRO news. This is interesting. People (and hungry people) line up in Support For Borrachini’s Bakery in the Rainer Valley. A dispute ensues over the firing of a 9-year employee - a member of SeaSol. Drama!
Check out the comments. Communists! Tuna salad and curry noodles for dinner. It's a Sci-Fi evening - Power Rangers SPD: Reflection Parts 1&2. Star Trek TNG: Qpid. And I fall asleep watching Voyager: Fair Haven. A new holodeck program about an Irish village called Fair Haven... is popular?
