woensdag 2 oktober 2013

woensdag 2 oktober 2013 Up at 4:34. Watch KOMO News. Was this the best summer in recent Seattle memory? Scott Sistek checks the data. They still haven't found the driver who hit this kid, but we can be hopeful for Trevon. Teenage hit-and-run victim finally wakes from 73-day coma. Walk up to 7-Eleven for coffee. Back to my place. Check the Maddow Blog to follow up on something I saw on her show - THE G.O.P.'S SUICIDE CAUCUS.
Districts of Republicans who signed a letter demanding the John Boehner pass legislation to defund Obamacare. Chipotle black bean soup for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Hal Sparks joins the show. He has to stand because his chair did a shutdown.
Walk up to Denny. Catch a #62 to Mercer. I'm mostly with the Sea Otters today. It's raining. The sun doesn't magically pop out for us. We're all wet, so we head inside to dry off. We have Music Time with Terri. She sings a little off key, but the kids love it. Lunches, diapers and naps. Ew. Yogurt on the wall. Everyone sleeps well. The Dolphins - next door - wake up a little early. Wow. My back is really bad. I limp over to the streetcar station. Ride to d'town. #73 bus tunnel to Uwajimaya. Veggies for stir fry. Pad Thai. Sushi. Train to d'town. This guy is wearing a cool newsboy cap, and I ask him about it. He's nice to show me. It's a Jaxon Hammersmith Newsboy Cap (Grey/Blue). Thanks, guy.
Home. Watch KOMO and MSNBC. Thank you, Ari Melber. You're smart, and you sussed it out very well.

WHY THE REPUBLICANS LOST

It's easy to say that both sides are to blame for bickering. But if "Washington is broken," as the saying goes, it's because Boehner and the Tea Party broke it.

It's hard to eat Phad Thai watching The Walking Dead. To Civilization, then. Let's be full of merry talk and sallies of wit. We have victuals to delight the palate and brave company to delight the mind.
