donderdag 2 januari 2020

donderdag 2 januari 2020 It's 37°F with clear skies. No breeze. It's beautiful for a Midnight bike ride. I detect Orion right away in the SW. So... What's Up With Betelgeuse?
Ratsy's has a curious "Happy New Year" display in its window. Someone seems to have an opinion about 2019. I definitely think that the baby in the cage is a political message about the children in camps at the Southern border.
Whoa! What's with the creepy 2020 dude? I ❤️ Oberlin.
Ratsy's motto: Never Be Normal. Full view of the window (with the little Pride flag). Fun store with a little of everything. Moët!
I guess that I'm Sleepless in 2020. Sunrise in Oberlin: 7:55AM.
New year... more protests. France 24: Hong Kong protesters vow to KEEP FIGHTING! It's a theme still ringing the world - individual rights vs the state. And the common theme is injustice - government corruption, unemployment, poverty, lack of government services. The comments are interesting. Neo-Marxist? Homofascists? Green-socialist indoctrination? Who are these people?!?!?
In honor of Ben Hardy's birthday, let's watch X-Men: Apocalypse.
