zondag 12 januari 2020 Midnight movie - Jailhouse Rock. In 1957, Elvis Presley was 22-years-old. His first big dramatic singing role! Construction worker Vince Everett (Elvis) accidentally kills a drunken and belligerent man in a barroom brawl. He is sentenced to two years in the state penitentiary for manslaughter. His cellmate, washed-up country singer Hunk Houghton (Mickey Shaughnessy) who was jailed for bank robbery, teaches Vince to play the guitar after hearing Vince sing and strum Hunk's guitar. Vince and Hunk pound rocks.
Fried tofu, tomato soup and crackers for breakfast. I need to watch the movie Jailhouse Rock again. I like it! Turn on France 24. Why are the French so gloomy and where does this grim outlook come from? The word of the day - rĂ¢ler. People in our town are respectful of public property, so I was a little surprised to see a bench in Tappan Square decorated like this. Rack rack rack rack rack rack rack rack rack rack rack rack...
In honor of my dad's passing three years ago, I watch a Western - The Burning Hills with the lovely talented Tab Hunter and Natalie Wood. Dad loved Westerns. Tab is a good kisser!
Seahawks-Packers playoff game at 6:40. This could be the closest of all playoff games. I'm going to catch it. GO HAWKS!
