dinsdag 18 augustus 2020 Loved the opening of the Democratic Convention with the National Anthem — tearful! Proud to hear and see all the kids singing. How beautiful!
Amazing testimonials. From Kristin Urquiza. Her father died of covid after taking Trump’s word for it that it wasn’t a big deal. She said his only pre-existing condition was trusting Donald Trump. Michelle Obama's speech - strong, thorough, moving! I'm not crying!
Admiring the cloudscape while WTSQ plays BØRNS' Electric Love.
Down to the pharmacy to pick up my perscription - $563.48 per month for a bottle of Eliquis. Medicaid picks up the tab. Bike around town. Up the Bike Path to the Maple Grove Apts. This is the eastern edge of the city limits. Relax at home and watch the 1951 American black-and-white science fiction classic The Day The Earth Stood Still.
The students are slowly moving into town. I see more and more of them at the grocery store stocking up on food (and wine). Oberlin College is charging $530 per student per semester for COVID testing. Do you know what? Mudd is huge... mind-boggling huge! I did a tour around it.
