dinsdag 9 april 2013

dinsdag 9 april 2013 Up with alarm. Watch KOMO News. Offbeat vid of a chair-man in a coffee shop. The news is fun for me this morning. Report - Africa’s first traditional gay wedding: Men make history as they marry in full tribal costume. Mushroom omelet for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. A caller has some choice remarks about gay marriage. Chris lights into him. “Marriage is about making a life together with the person you love... it’s not just about sex.” As Ward goes on his demonic dirty talk. "Dirty, dirty!" I'm cracking up! Walk up Westlake to work. Breaks for the Starfish teachers. I read the Big Sharks book to the kids. Another boy seems interested in his giant plastic spiders. The playground and the deck are both busy with kids running around in different directions. It's a manageable chaos. Over to Sea Otters. Only 4 kids. Fresh from a walk, the kids settle down for lunchtime. They're not very hungry. Story time. Then down for naps. Magical nap time for the Seahorses. Unusual for them, but wonderful. Walk up to Whole Foods for juice, soy cream and hot bar. Back to my place. Listen to All Things Considered. Different reports about the hullabaloo on the Korean peninsula. Some are saying "ho-hum" and others seem rather nervous. "It's like a joke. It's like a playground bully," says Hong, 76, a retired shoe manufacturer who asked to be referred to by a single name. "I don't take it seriously. It's nonsense." NPR - A View From South Korea: The North Is 'A Playground Bully'  NBC - US Prepares To Defend Allies Again North Korea
