vrijdag 5 april 2013 Up with alarm. Breakfast burrito and hot dog. Watch Anderson Cooper 360 - Tribute to Roger Ebert. Also - Think Progress: The Five Best Things Roger Said About Politics. Turn on WCPT. The ad for Sidetrack's Chili Cook Off is tempting. It's The Stephanie Miller Show. Steph wants to gay-marry Michael Tomasky. John Fugelsang says that he interviewed him. They discuss the ongoing gun control fight. Connecticut passed the most restrictive and comprehensive gun control legislation in the country, prompting Fugelsang to ask whether a state-by-state approach is the best hope for stricter gun measures. Walk up to Denny. Catch a #62 bus to Mercer. Only one small break for Sharyn. The Sea Otters are on a field trip to see the cherry blossoms at the U of W. I stay behind to set their mats out. Over to Starfish for Anne's lunch break. Only 4 kids. They're already done with lunch. No arguments here about naps. I can hear Kenn reading a story to his group. He does a dramatic aural interpretation of The Rainbow Fish. When Anne comes back, I go to the Seahorses. All 8 kids are here today. Amazingly, naps are not too much of a struggle. When the Sea Otters come back, some of they cry when moms and dads say bye. They're all asleep when I go over. I take one early riser out to the playground. One-on-one with the boy who loves to chase bubbles. Walk up to Whole Foods to pick up some things. Drop off stuff at my place. I'm tired. Watch movie - Tremors. Melvin gets close to getting killed. Close call, Melvin. Back when Kevin Bacon was 32, he had gorgeous long hair. Chili spaghetti for dinner. Watch MSNBC. Filthy rich - Exxon/Mobil. Rachel reviews safety problems with Exxon pipelines even as the company is wildly profitable - so profitable that fines meant to encourage accountability are meaningless.
