donderdag 12 november 2009

donderdag 12 november 2009 Up at 4:01. Turn on KUOW to hear BBC News. Report - Medvedev Calls For Economy Reform. Switch to AM 1090. Richard Wolffe talks with Bill Press about Obama's style. He also speculates that Lou Dobbs might run for President. Ha! Stephanie Miller also scoffs at that idea. Toast and omelet with cheese, onions and artichokes. Yum! Bath. Up to Kaladi. Jeremiah is working up to the last minute before he heads down to San Antonio. Weather looks nice. I say, "Bon Voyage!" to him on my way out.

Back to my place for a while. Streetcar to work. 10 to 11 - Breaks for Kenn, Pam, Lydia and Olivia. 11 to 12 - Lunch break for Teresa. Free play for 7 Dolphins. The group is staying inside on the beautiful day. Kenn sets up lunches. I get a break at 12:00. There's a beautiful buffet upstairs for staff as a "thank you" from the admin team. Kenn is extra for us in the Dolphin Room. Nice. He cleans up the lunch mess. Teresa does diapers. I get the kids on their mats. Harrison falls asleep first. Pam is on planning time. 1 - Pam's lunch. All the Dolphins fall asleep by 1:10. I grab some pancit from upstairs. Wow! Stella takes only a 20-minute nap. Stella and I go to the Bike Room where she can let out her squeakiness. I supply an extra pair of eyes for Kris and her Seahorses. 3 - Streetcar to d'town. Drop off stuff at home. Oh, no! Take a short walk around First Hill. It's amazing that it's dark at 4:30. Listen to The Ron Reagan Show. He interviews Amy Goodman about how the news is covered. It sounds like she's looking forward to visiting Seattle. He also talk with a representative of the Singapore Democratic Party. Obama is going to Singapore for an economic summit soon. Protests are forbidden! They talk about the Human Rights Abuses in Singapore. Watch movie - Infernal Affairs.

It tells the story of a police officer who infiltrates the Triads, and a police officer secretly working for the same gang. The Chinese title means "the non-stop path", a reference to Avici, the lowest level of hell in Buddhism.
