I manage to dose off... until a noisy commercial on France 24 wakes me up. Mon dieu! Fried egg on toast for breakfast. Turn on KTLK to listen to Bill Press. He interviews Peter Fenn live in studio to talk politics. Switch to KOMO News to check the weather. We're rather concerned. Ted Buehner of the Weather Service says, "This is a widespread and significant snow event." (We should stay at home.) But we won't stay at home. Streetcar to work. Most of the kids have shown up today. Ha! The Sea Otters decorate me with stickers. Thanks, kids.
The Seahorses try to steal my stickers. Only 5 Seahorses, but it feels like 50. Geez. We have Bike Room time. I can hardly believe that things settle down at nap time, but it's quiet time. Over to Starfish. Sam wakes up early. We go over to the Bike Room. We can see out the window that it's snowing on and off. Streetcar to d'town. Walk around a little. Listen to The World on my radio. Watch the weather on KOMO. Reporters are around the region calling into the studio about the snow, traffic and school closures. Turn on Politics Nation.

Newt Gingrich calls President Barack Obama the “best food stamp president in American history.” Man! That gets to me. It's unfair... and saying that on Martin Luther King Day. People are starving... especially the children and the elderly. Newt Gingrich, a fiscal conservative? Not when it comes to Tiffany's. Geezus!Fix up apartment for exterminators and inspection. Chili and potatoes for dinner. Watch Star Trek DS-9: Resurrection.
