donderdag 22 maart 2012 Up with alarm. Turn on France 24. Report - Toulouse Gunman Killed By Sniper.

This has made for a political situation, too, shaking up the presidential race. The theme of security has brushed aside the issues of taxes, unemployment and immigration. Macaroni salad for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Romney has suffered an etch-a-sketch moment, and Steph mocks him for it. Rachel Maddow enumerates the lies he tells daily, the cynicism with which those lies are told, and goes on to explain why Romney is undermining democracy and the office of President when he lies so easily just to get the job. Oh! There's John Fugelsang!

Hot bath. Up to Kaladi for some coffee. The I-love-your-shirt guy is on duty. Back to my place to watch more France 24. They're still going on about Mohamed Merah - The boy next-door who ‘brought France to its knees’.
Walk up Westlake to work. Kenn and Sharon get breaks. The mighty Sea Otters are playing in the water table. Patti gets a break, too. The Dolphins clean up their classroom to go outside. Meet the Starfish out on the big playground for Cristin's break then Olivia takes a lunch. We build a big house with the waffle blocks. I set their lunches and mats. I join them for circle time, too. Yay for Ol' McDonald! I spend the rest of the day with the Seahorses. They are rather quiet at lunch time. That's weird. But they go down for naps early. All (except one) are asleep by 1:00. Quiet time. Early to sleep, early to rise... Set up the Dr. Suess Matching Game for the kids.
Streetcar to d'town. Change my clothes. T-shirt and shorts for me! It's nice outside. A little taste of Spring. The Star Magnolias are the early bloomers.
With the amazing beauty of nature, I am disturbed listening to NPR's report - Racial Tension Runs Through Sanford's Roots. Justice, please. Justice! So much unnecessary suffering.
In Sanford, Fla., historic wrongs against the local black community go back a long way. Back at my place. Watch Politics Nation. In a special edition of Politics Nation, Trayvon Martin’s father Tracy goes on a walk through the neighborhood where his son was gunned down and killed.
