dinsdag 5 oktober 2010

dinsdag 5 oktober 2010 Great way to start the day is Speedos and the music of Dead Or Alive. It's better than coffee.

Habañero cheddar omelet and hash browns for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. I browse through the photos of her birthday party. She interviews Arianna Huffington about her new book - Third World America: How Our Politicians Are Abandoning the Middle Class and Betraying the American Dream.

Yikes. What a depressing book. Will we rise and put things right? Shower. Walk up Westlake to work. A lot of people are out today. I'm in the Infant Room today to do a few breaks. It's been a long time. Bottles of breast milk. 11 - Elaine's lunch. The 7 Dolphins are starting to fall apart, so we start lunch early. 12 - Up to Sunshine Kids for Kechelle's lunch. The 5 kids get silly at lunchtime. Diaper time goes remarkably smoothly. 1 - Kathy is subbing for Charmaine. It's her lunch. Quiet time for the 7 seahorses. I see that the Seahorses are catching some Halloween spirit.

Patty and I fold laundry. 2 - Patty's lunch. Alex wakes up first. Alex talks very loudly, so he wakes up everyone else. Walk to the Westlake Station. Catch a train to Uwajimaya to get some groceries. Oh! Nalley dip! General Tsao chicken, Ozeki, bread and soy sauce. Bus tunnel back to my place. The #301 is packed. Turn on French sports. French sprinter Christophe Lemaitre has been voted men's European Athlete of the Year. Lemaître « athlète européen de l’année » Bravo!

Watch Star Trek The Next Generation - Hero Worship. Then Charlie X. In the 2nd act, Kirk attempts to befriend Charlie. He takes Charlie to the physical training room for some light sparring. Initially refusing to participate, Charlie falls awkwardly and prompts laughter from Sam, one of Kirk's sparring partners. Humiliated and angry, Charlie makes Sam "go away", revealing his powers.
